10 New Micellar and Cleansing Waters Available for Spring 2017

I admit I’m not a huge micellar water fan unless I’m in a hurry. My cleansing routine is rather long but I embrace it because my skin looks great when I take good care of. I never feel fully clean when I use solely a micellar water. So, typically if I’m home late and I’m just being lazy that’s when the micellar water comes out. Or sometimes I use it in my double cleansing as it works a treat to swipe away any left over makeup, dirt, and oil my cleanser may have left behind.

If you’re a diehard micellar fan girl or guy here are 10 New Micellar and Cleansing Waters Available for Spring 2017!

I’m not really impressed with these, although for the price point and size Garnier’s is probably the best I’ve tried. I got a sample in the mail of the LA MER micellar water and I was not impressed. It didn’t remove makeup at all and the price point was insane! Garnier’s is the way to go. Affordable and does what it says. I’m with you Muse, I always have to use a cleanser afterwards, the micellar water to do the job of removing everything just doesn’t cut it.

It’s good for lazy days for me but as an everyday cleanser? Naaa I need do a full cleanse at the end of the day!

I know Garnier had the mini bottles before now, since I had gotten one of the waterproof versions last summer on vacation from the travel sized isle of one of drug or big box stores (I’m thinking it was either Target, Walmart or CVS).
Personally, I think every company should make small travel sized versions of their products, makes it so I don’t forget what has been put in what small bottle for travel, plus the convenience of trying a smaller size before full-size commitment.

I didn’t know that, I haen’t seen them around! I like the smaller trial size a lot as I travel often and can’t lug around the big bulky otle with me, it’s a pain ;-D

I definitely want to try the Pacifica one! And maybe the Yes To Cotton one as well… I’m not a die-hard fan either, but I do like them to do a quick morning cleanse. My skin doesn’t require that I wash it twice a day (just at night), but I don’t like to go right to moisturizer in the morning. This is a quick and easy step for me to do that doesn’t strip my skin. 🙂

Not lying, I was on Ultas site putting all of these in my cart a few nights ago…but I resisted.

Thanks for the info! I have used several of them and while they are great for taking eye makeup off, which is the only thing I used it for, they tend to dry my eyelids and the skin around my eyes out. So back to my baby shampoo or oil. Much more comforting for me.

I thought it was just me given all the rave reviews I read, but like you, my Sista, I do not like micellar waters for cleansing. I had received the Garnier as a full-size freebie and I don’t like it at all — and I don’t even wear foundation! So I’ve repurposed it and use it to clean my brushes and sponges.

Yeah, there’s a lot of “OMG you need micellar water in your life” don’t get me wrong, it’s nice on lazy days, but most days I don’t feel fully clean if I solely use a cleansing water to remove my makeup!

  • Randi MacDonald

i have a huge backstock of Simple so I’m going to use that up. I only use it after I cleanse with oil.

  • Ang

Yes to actually has the micellar water ALSO in the coconut line and cucumber.

  • Fey

I have the Sephora green tea and also rose micellar waters. After a few uses of the green tea one, I am noticing less red areas on my combination-type skin. It was totally eye safe and removed all my makeup. I love not having to rinse it off! My skincare routine isn’t very involved haha. The rose one is moisturizing enough that I can skip facial lotion before makeup. I can’t wait to try these other brands!

    • Isabella Muse

Sounds good! I want to try some of them as well as the new cleansing foams/milks!

  • Justin

I agree with you Muse. I hardly use them but I keep just in case or to get bulk of junk off my face before cleansing. The Origins one is the only one I’ve tried recently that I was pretty impressed with, the Kenzo one sounds similar to that I might give that one a try

    • Isabella Muse

I really want to try the Kenzo one! I love the way Kenzo’s skincare smells 😀
