Lorac Light Source 3-in-1 Illuminating Primer ($35) is a new luminous primer that can be used to prep skin for makeup or even used on top of it or mixed with foundation or moisturizer to brighten and highlight skin. It’s odd because I felt for sure that Spring 2017 Makeup and Beauty Trends would perhaps bring a lighter load of highlighting and strobing products but that doesn’t seem the case at all as we’re seeing even more highlighting products released the last few weeks.

Lorac’s new Light Source 3-in-1 Illuminating Primer does have some advantage in the fact the multi-use formula can be used in a few different ways. This one acts to primer for makeup sure but you can also add it to your foundation or a moisturizer to add a subtle glow to your skin. It’s probably better used mixed versus applying it directly under makeup or at least I’m assuming it will be. You can also use it on top of your makeup, patted gently onto your complexion. The high-pearl finish captures the light and diffuses the appearance of pores and imperfections while providing a soft luminosity. Not to mention it promises to preserve your makeup all day.

It also happens to be available in two shades! Dawn is the lighter, cooler shade and Dusk is the darker, warmer shade.

Lorac Light Source 3-in-1 Illuminating Primer is available now at Ulta.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
