Beautifully Bare and Tolerance are three, new limited edition shades of MAC Caitlyn Jenner Cremesheen Glass that launched with the Caitlyn Jenner collaboration with MAC. I’m a fond fan of natural shades like these so I was excited when I saw the shades in person were just as lovely as the promo images that MAC released.
Here’s a look at my review and swatches.
I can’t rave these enough. MAC did a good job creating some very wearable shades of nudes in this collection. I hate to be boring but I’m all about nudes. Each Cremesheen comes housed in special edition packaging with gold tops with Caitlyn’s name around it. These are 0.09 oz in size and $21 each. The regular Lipglass line is considerably cheaper 0.16 oz for $16 each but you may choose to overlook this factor if you really love the shades as much as I did.
These have a light, creamy, almost milky consistency with excellent pigmentation that isn’t as sticky as the original Lipglass formula. The lighter texture is lightly hydrating and wears for about four hours while leaving my lips pleasantly moist throughout that period. They do have the standard MAC vanilla fragrance and scent.
Beautifully Bare is my favorite of the two shades but Tolerance is no slacker either. This is a rather unique plum with very fine golden shimmer. You can’t actually see the shimmer on your lips but it actually lends a bit of golden light to the plum. It’s very pretty. Well, technically both shades are gorgeous.
Both MAC Caitlyn Jenner Cremesheen Glass shades are keepers. I actually purchased a backup of Beautifully Bare since I liked it so much! Well worth exploring for those who like a more natural lip look or those looking for pretty dusky plums.
