Clinique is all about the vitamin C lately. Recently, they launched the new Fresh Pressed Daily Booster with Pure Vitamin C 10% which look mighty interesting. Along with the boosters, there’s a new Clinique Fresh Pressed Renewing Powder Cleanser with Pure Vitamin C ($32.50) is a new powder cleanser that contains fresh Vitamin C to brighten and retexture skin. Apparently, the formula is non-drying and doesn’t strip while acting to brighten up skin. The cleanser comes in individual packets which acts to keep the Vitamin C fresh. This particular cleanser is meant for morning use to jump start skin. Pour the powder into your hands, add water, lather, and cleanse.

I’m always in turmoil about cleansers that contain vitamin C as you’re essentially washing them away, what exactly are the benefits? But when you promise be brightening, well, I’m all hands on board.

Hmmm!

Dilemma!

28 packets of Clinique Fresh Pressed Renewing Powder Cleanser with Pure Vitamin C is $32.50 and available now at nordstrom.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I agree Muse. You are just washing it away. This seems gimmicky to me. Clinique likes to bring companion products out with their initial offerings such as these cleanser packets to pair with the Vitamin C “shots” you mentioned. They are all about selling more than one item for every sale ( I worked for them) so they have to have something to accompany the main product they want you to buy. I know you are tempted but whatever cleanser you are using now I’m sure works just as well as this would.

I wonder if each packet is 1 use only? These would be good for traveling, especially airlines.
Speaking of powder cleansers, I’m always on the lookout for one to replace my beloved BareMinerals powder. I stocked up until the price got ridiculously high on eBay as the supply diminished. I’ve been using the Biore baking soda cleanser which is no where near like the BM!
I don’t why they had to discontinue it
