Colourpop Muse Super Shock Shadow Named After Me for the Sake of This Review
Colourpop Muse Super Shock Shadow ($5) is perfect for Valentine’s Day looks and no, it wasn’t named after me but for the sake of this review let’s pretend it was! 🙂
I think Muse was released for Fall 2016 and it’s such a gorgeous shade that I really need to consider picking up a backup just in case it disappears.
Let’s have a peek!
Colourpop Muse Super Shock Shadow is a gorgeous metallic cranberry for my look below I applied the Super Shock Shadow all over my eye in Brady and I followed up by applying Muse on the outer corner of my eye and blended slightly inward. The two shades work great together so, if you don’t have either one I’d highly suggest purchasing both. I think cranberry can be a little hard to pull off because it can accentuate darkness or puffiness. But this shade just worked out well for me and looked beautiful! Sometimes Colourpop’s shimmery or metallic finishes can be cakey or thicker on my lids which results in a frostier look which I’m not a fan of. But this shade was thinner and didn’t have that frosty look.
The formula is Colourpop’s traditional clay-like texture that’s part cream and part powder with the texture of Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush and MAC’s Electric Cool Eyeshadow. If you’d like a more throughout review of Colourpop Super Shock Eyeshadow check my review out here.
