Dove Shower Foam Deep Moisture Body Wash ($5.99) is the latest brilliant drugstore innovation you need to get on board with! This brilliant little body wash isn’t your traditional gel, nope, this one is a foaming body wash. How cool is that? If you’ve read my blog for a while you know I’m utterly obsessed with foaming facial cleansers! My addiction started with Kose Softymo Airy Whip Cleansing Facial Wash which is a Japanese foaming cleanser but over the years many, many different Asian foaming cleansers have made their home in my collection like Biore Marshmallow Whip Face Wash, Etude House Cloud Bubble Foam, Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Foam, etc….

But in all my cleansing travels I can’t rightfully say that I have owned a foaming body wash! Dude, I’ll say it, foaming body wash is just fun. Call me a kid but squirting out a big old pile of fluffy foam just makes me smile. There’s something terribly fun about foam. If I could I’d run around my bathroom with a bottle of hair mousse and squirt it everywhere.

So, in shower body lotions were last year’s big breakthrough in the body wash world. This year, you’re bound to see a ton of foaming body washes. You have to really ask yourself sometimes, “How is it possible to get any more innovative with something as simple as shower gel?” Obviously someone in the marketing department is a hell of a lot smarter than I am as foaming body wash was born.

Basically, foaming body wash has the texture of a hair mousse and a formula that lathers up and cleanses skin without leaving a film behind. Dove’s formula is light, airy, and has a pretty fresh floral scent that uses the power of a soft, fluffy mousse to get your body clean. Pretty cool right? Not to mention it’ll leave you lightly hydrated after use. You don’t even need a shower puff, just pump some of the foam into your hands, massage into your body, and it’ll instantly transform into a soft lather. Each 13 oz bottle contains 250 pumps of foam!

If you have kids, they are going to adore this. Or if you’re a kid like me, well, it goes without saying I just had a blast with this. It takes a lot of restraint not to keep pumping a ton of foam onto my body in the shower!

Dove Shower Foam Deep Moisture Body Wash is pretty darn awesome and available now at drugstores or grab it at target.com.

I’m excited about this product! I saw it a few weeks ago in a magazine and have been keeping an eye out for it whenever I hit the drugstore. No luck yet, but hopefully I’ll find it soon! I think my husband and I would both like it. Dove body wash is a longtime favorite of mine, and he likes foaming body washes! Btw, Rituals has a number of foaming body washes in their line. 🙂

I saw this at evil empire about 2 weeks ago. I picked up the cucumber. I really can’t get on board with it as a shower product. I tried it, and for me I like the lather of shower gel or bar soap. I felt like I was endlessly going for the pump in the shower. Way too much trouble . So, i decided to use it as a hand soap. More moisturizing than the foaming hand washes from B&BW! Sorry, B&BW. So, it did not go to waste. It’s a good product none the less.

I have to restrain myself otherwise I’d use an entire bottle in the shower, I just think it’s too fun 😀

foam soaps/cleansers/whatever just P me off. All they are is thinned out soap – So they’re charging you a lot of $$ for watered down soap. They are fun, i will grant you that, but for what they are, I’ll just make my own. Keep a couple of the foaming pump gizmos and thin out whatever you want to use about 50-50 with water – voila! Foaming whatever. 🙂

    And yas, I iz a tightwad. 😀

I saw this in the grocery store, but purchased the Prickly Pear/Aloe regular body wash. Pistachios is still my fave!

I actually bought a Method brand foaming body wash from Duane Reade. It’s good, but you do need a lot of product to actually create a good amount of lather on your body pouf.

I bought one hoping it would be like the old B&BW foaming soaps but it was nothing like them. It’s fun but a little wasteful since I have to use so much. I’ll stick to bar soap or regular body wash. I got mine at Target, right on an end-cap.
