Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Concealer & Corrector for Spring 2017

Hi, concealer junkie here so, of course I’m excited about the new Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Concealer and Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Corrector! Well, maybe not the corrector! My dark circles haven’t quite reached a pinnacle that I need to do double duty with a corrector thankfully. But no worries, Lancome gifts you with give shades of corrector for a host of issues, not just dark circles, such as green for redness, lilac for dull skin, etc….!

But let’s chat the Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Concealer formula first!

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Concealer ($31) is available in a slew of shades, 16 of ’em to be exact. This new formula promises full coverage in a weightless formula that has a second-skin finish. But beware, this is a matte formula. Not that matte is a bad thing considering I had great success with Tarte’s Shape Tape Concealer which is all about matte but sadly, not such a good run with the new NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer! I’m curious if this will work out for me as I’m a fan of Lancome Effacernes Undereye Concealer.

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear Camouflage Corrector ($31) is available in the same formula as the concealer. This one addresses redness, dark spots, under eye dark circles, and dullness in a range of five different shades from green to lilac and more!

Whatcha think?

Worth trying out?

I’m tempted.

Get these now at Sephora.com.

One of my favorite concealers is Lancome Effacernes Waterproof Undereye Concealer. It is matte-ish as well. What do you think is the difference between that and this, which begs a bigger question … why are there so many variations on a particular product within one line? I’m the type of person who becomes frozen when given too many options. It’s hard enough deciding which shade of something to buy, but deciding which of four Lancome concealers, let alone 14 Lancome foundations, is enough to paralyze me.

I dunno, I haven’t tried this one yet. I’ll let you know if/wen I do and see what the difference is 🙂

I only recently started color correcting, with a KIKO wheel, and was amazed by the effect it had. Once you get over the fear of painting your face green and lilac it is actually pretty effective. Right now I am not sure if i would invest in a high end corrector though, I will see how they perform before splurging I guess.

I love Effacernes concealer too!!! I hope this doesn’t mean it’s being dc’d

I’m interested in the Teint Idole Ultra Wear Concealer too. A local Sephora only had the correctors despite the website saying that the concealers should have been there too. I ended up getting the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer. I usually do the spots that need concealer first, blend and let dry then do my foundation (for now using powder). The UD one worked for what was needed– hiding some faint red capillaries.
