New Makeup and Beauty You Can Get At Target

Target, the place you hope to run in and out of for a replenishment of your favorite toothpaste or to restock on toilet paper. But that never really happens does it. You go in with ten dollars gripped tightly in your hand and you come out with a receipt saying you spent over $200.

I have a theory Target stores might just be build over the pits of hell. I think I heard a whisper once or twice when entering the sliding doors that said, “Come to the dark side! We have Method Hand Soap, organic dog food, and limited edition, exclusive haute couture from designers like Jason Wu! Join us!”

Needless to say there are a ton of new makeup and beauty items you can get now at Target and Target.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Dying to try the Caroline Hirons for Pixi Double Cleanse. Also not-so-patiently waiting for the re-branded/re-packaged Boots Botanics line to hit the Target shelves again! I’m kind of obsessed with that Triple Age Renewal night cream, and I want to try some of the All Bright line & also try the day cream version of the Triple Age Renewal.

I may be late to the game, but my Target has travel size Embryolisse. I have already picked up the Pixi Double Cleanse and Bling bath bomb (though I haven’t tried the bath bomb yet). Can’t wait to check out some of the other new things!

    • Isabella Muse

Abbey, let me know about the bath bomb? I’m a big bath bomb lover 😀 was curios how these were. Thanks for the deets on the travel size embryolisse!

Target now officially has displays of Soap and Glory- and it’s less expensive than any other retailer so far! AND There’s a Cartwheel deal for 20% off until I think 2/11. May or may not have done some major damage 🙂

You are an enabler for us beauty addicts. :-). I saw most of these things when I went to target last week. However, I already had a list of other things to buy. Mostly the physicians formula products. They are not cheap at target. I picked up the st. Ives at evil empire.
Now, like the bullseye is beckoning me, I must go again. Must get bath bombs. Must get Olay. I also saw a pretty necklace and clutch when I was there that I have been lusting over.

    • Isabella Muse

hehe 😀 I try! I got the St Ives at evil empire too ;-D I think PF isn’t cheap anywhere lately, like $14.99 and up at CVS GASP! ;-D ha, see? Can’t leave with beauty and make but must get accessories too!

Soap & Glory?!? Woo! I have nothing to add — haven’t been to Target in ages. But literally one of my favorite things is to visit the Target out by my parents (in Jersey, where the Targets are fully stocked, clean, and staffed by nice people) all by myself (i.e., no kids or anyone else) and just cruise around, including a trip to the cosmetics aisle, of course. I didn’t realize Caroline Hirons had her name on Pixi products — very interested in that and in the product you mention — will wait for your review. Thinking that that dual-sided design could get very messs, though, no?

    • Isabella Muse

I was hoping not but it looks like it might be a little messy 😀 got a review upcoming on it soon! pixi did a collaboration with Caroline and a few other peeps for Spring!

I am on the mad hunt to locate that double cleanse at my local targets lol.

  • Kimmwc03

One of my local Targets just re-did their beauty section recently and I went crazy in that place over the weekend with elf, Milani, Shea Moisture and Wet n Wild. I went in to get one the WnW Catsuit liquid lipstick (but they were sold out of most shades so I just got one) and some Tide. I didn’t see those bath fizzers but I’ll be going back to look for those.

    • Isabella Muse

yay! My local target also had a revamp, also my cvs and wow it looks amazing!

  • Chelsea

I am going to have to try the SheaMoisture lip balm! I love lip balms and am always on the hunt for new ones.

  • Sara

I purchased the $10 Olay Duo Soothing Orchid & Black Currant Body Cleansing Buffer against my better judgement. Haha.
It is nice and lathery, and the scrubby part is nice…but….it’s REALLY hard to hold on to. Luckily it has a little rubber rope that you can put around your wrist…but still, it’s just an odd shape to use/hold on to.
    I can’t say that I recommend it.

    • Isabella Muse

oh no! I was excited about that one too darn! Oh well! 🙂 $$$ saved!

  • Eraser

I just bought the Caolion steam pack! I was torn between that and the bubble pack. I also got my favorite Laneige cleanser & I do so wish they’d get a fully stocked Laneige display, i. e. all the skin care and color. FYI, I spotted Embryolisse, Yu Be, Missha (the First Essence and night serum that everyone raves about) – and the Baby Foot treatment! Never seen that in a store before.

  • Adrienne

I couldn’t agree with you more Muse. Guess where I found all of those Shea Moisture products and oddly enough the Pixi product? Near the register. You know Target has two checkout lines in the same aisle, so this on the end cap facing me while I was in line waiting to check out.
I was tempted but since there were no prices I didn’t bite. This is the same strategic placement they have at Sephora- unfortunately they get me every time and I always ask how did “travel size” items end up costing me another $40. Oh well…

  • Hayley

I cannot leave a target without spending bare minimum $50!!! I went in the other day and was like oh wow, they have such cute spring purses out! The bullseye is addicting!!!

  • Carrie

I got the lip balms the other day and am really liking them. Walmart had a different flavor/scent that target didnt. Coconut hibiscus I think. I’m liking the Target ones better. I really want to try those bath bombs.

  • Sammy

I agree with your statement that Target is built over the pits of hell! lol
I just recently purchased two new Pixi Beauty Geltint and SilkGlosses in PinkTint & PrettyGloss and BeachTint & FreshGloss. And boy do I sure love these little gems for Spring. BeachTint is a darker stain than PinkTint. Neither formula is drying and both leave a fresh, light tint to your lips. You can top it off with the glosses on the opposite end of the tube. There is some shimmer in the gloss, but nothing that will make your lips look disco-ball. At $12.00 a pop they’re a steal.
