L.A. Girl Sold at Ulta

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

L.A. Girl is now sold at ulta.com! I don’t know if they’ll be carrying it in store but I’m quite happy to see select products are now available online. I notice that Ulta is carrying more and more lower end, budget brands lately like BH Cosmetics, L.A. Girl, E.L.F., etc…..They are also expanding their mid to high end range as well as earlier last yesterday they started carrying Estee Lauder, Guerlain fragrances, and others.

Lately, Ulta rivals Sephora in some aspects especially considering they get a lot of exclusive launches before Sephora does. If you haven’t tried the L.A. Glazed Lip Paint now is a good time to do so! Those are pretty good!

Are you excited about L.A. Girl now being sold at Ulta?

I’m hoping it’ll come to stores soon too!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. That’s good news. LA Girl has some good stuff like the lip paints. I’m also hoping it shows up in stores.

Maybe one day ColourPop will be sold at Ulta!

Apparently Ulta HAS totally approached ColorPop but right now CP is happy to stay an online-only entity. Never say ‘never,’ right!?

  • Dee

I love all the brands that are showing up Ulta, from lower end all the way up. I too hope these show up in store and not just online.

I’m quite happy with all the lines they are carrying lately! Even a ton of K-Beauty stuff too yay!

Know I said COSRX!!! How do you say great stuff inexpensive more accessible in Korean? So psyched. I’ve found that a lot of the higher end K products sold at big S have pretty ornery ingredients lists, loaded up with alcohol and scent. Son and Park beauty water comes to mind. Cosdna that baby. Might feel good initially, but in the long run, it’ll put you in need of massive anti aging and moisturizing products. Gimme a five good ingredient Cosrx over all that Sephora stuff any day!

I haven’t tried LA Colors but I was curious about the baked Bronx Colors shadows that showed up on Ulta recently.

    • Isabella Muse

I was too, actually curious about the concealer too from Bronx Colors!

I have that nude palette in the photo and it’s actually pretty good, especially the matte shades!

Meh, I’ll admit it, 1. with the exception of a few products I don’t really like lower end stuff, 2. I like Ulta, but I’ll never love Ulta. I don’t like the website (though right now Sephora’s is buggy with the update, and there’s something about Ulta that always just feels a bit more lower brow.

  • Jane

    No, cuz I’m never ulta.

But I will search out that blush elsewhere!

  • Silvia

That blush looks like a perfect match. I have tried their cream eyeshadows long time ago in pinks/purples and they perform well. So glad!

It’s like pulling teeth trying to get anyone to carry LA Girl in Canada, so I’m even more jealous of you guys having Ulta down there (they don’t even ship to Canada!). I’ve liked the concealers and lip products I’ve tried of theirs and loved the price point. It’s really encouraging to see more brands that do not test on animals available in store! I totally welcome it.

I like Ulta’s d.s. end better than their h.e. selections. They have a very comprehensive selection, with some Cosnova (Catrice and essence) and MUR, expanded Nyx, that you typically will not see in ‘real’ drug stores. LA girl is well reviewed for quite a few products. Good choice for Ulta. Will check it out, if it comes instore. Aren’t they the guys (girls?) who have every color and finish of liquid liner known to man?
