Models Own Now Sold at Ulta

Lots of fantastic news from Ulta today! MAC will be sold at Ulta shortly but not only that Ulta also sells Models Own now! This adorable brand has always been a fond favorite of mine and I could believe my eyes when it popped up at Ulta.com today! I’m terribly excited about this.

Ulta continues to grow it’s catalog of brands at a very rapid pass in 2016 and now into 2017 with both higher end offerings from brands like Guerlain and NARS and even budget friendly ones like BH Cosmetics. Not to mention their International catalog is growing daily with fine Korean beauty brands and now British ones too such as Makeup Revolution.

Not to sound greedy but can we get Borjois Paris back and possibly can you bring over Barry M?

I’ll be waiting 😉

    Do you know if they’ll be bringing over the nail polish? I got SO into their nail polishes! But this has been an exciting day for Ulta news! I can’t handle it, I wonder what other amazing surprises they have?

    At first glance that looks like Cargos Aloha palette and I imagine it’s cheaper. Maybe Ultra read your blog last year and saw our comparison posts. I’m glad they are adding more brands, Nars was a good addition . I hope they don’t change their rewards program to make it difficult to get some of these prestige items.

      oh I doubt they will 🙂 I think they are really trying to grain traction with Sephora!

    *sigh* and once again they bring over everything BUT the nail polish, the one thing I’m interested in. (See also Catrice, Bronx Colors, etc.) At least it looks like the Models Own site still does international orders.

      ha funny you mention this because I’m not a polish girl but I actually love Models Own polish and won’t use anything else when getting a pedicure 😀

      Dang, I was hoping for the polish too. And if they brought over Barry M then they would probably skip the polish as well. 🙁
      Some US sites do sell Models Own polish but it’s impossible to get Barry M at a reasonable price.

    I saw the new eyeshadow palettes on Ulta.com yesterday, and as you know, that is my weakness when it comes to cosmetics and I want all of those pretty palettes. And now for the big question: do you know where the eyeshadow palettes are manufactured? I believe I had read somewhere that Models Own manufactures in China. I also read that the pigmentation isn’t that great.

      they aren’t that great at all but I’m slightly addicting to buying them lol! And yes, some are made in China! :-/

          None of the palettes no, because it was difficult to get them in the past! now I can 😉 I’ll get on reviewing them soon!

    WUT?! MAC is going to be sold at Ulta?! Oh, I hope it’s sold at my lil town Ulta – pleasepleasepleaseplease…… Otherwise I have to drive 60 miles to get a MAC fix, and this would be SO much nicer!

    WOOT! THanks for the heads up on all the new lines Ulta’s going to be carrying!! They really are going to start giving Sephora a run for its money!!! And (thus far) the consumer is the real winner! 😀

        Oh, one more question, sorry. Do you know if Ulta is discontinuing any brands to make room for MAC or other things? Don’t you hate it when your favorite fill-in-the-blank is discontinued without warning? :-O

    If you say they aren’t all that great, I believe you and I appreciate it your honest opinion. Besides, $18 each palette isn’t all that cheap so I think I will have to resist the temptation to buy more eyeshadow palettes and pass. Thanks and have a lovely weekend, Sista Muse!

    Bourjois is a great line that we actually have in Aus – their healthy mix foundation and lipsticks are pretty good.
    Hopefully Ulta will carry brands that aren’t available at Sephora et al. I will cross my fingers for you. And I hope MAC comes to a store near everyone.

    Such a bummer. I was so excited and went to my local Ulta since the website said my location had most of the products in stock. To no surprise, none of the associates had even heard of the brand. I told them Ulta recently started carrying the brand and they thought it was an Ulta brand item. I even showed them the website and pointed out the IN STOCK next to the store location. They just said sorry, I don’t know, shrugged and walked away. I love the stuff Ulta carries, but I always get turned off going there.
