Like we need another nude palette? But the NARS NARSissist Loaded Eyeshadow Palette for Spring 2017 ($59) caught my attention today and even though I know I’m already set for nudes this month after purchasing the Too Faced Natural Love Eyeshadow Palette I still have a little voice in my head saying, “You should totally buy this for yourself!”

Do I need it? Probably not. Do I want it? Most definitely!

NARSissist Loaded Eyeshadow Palette is available now at www.narscosmetics.com.

P.S. Is anyone watching Time After Time? H.G. Wells, Jack the Ripper, Freddie Stroma, what’s not to love? My love affair with H.G. Wells dates back to first time I read the Invisible Man and later Claude Rains bringing said Invisible Man to life. The series is based off the film of the same name. Malcolm McDowell is in it, so yeah, saw the movie when I was like 16 and everything with Malcolm McDowell was very, very, very, very important to me because hello, Clockwork Orange!

I dunno if fans of the film are going to see major similarities between it and the TV series because lord knows the TV series is going for a much more youthful, sexier feel. Freddie Stroma is totally my new crush. He’s adorably nerdy and endearing as H.G. Wells and also, pretty sexy too! He was in Harry Potter but he’s grown up considerably.

Anyway, it’s on Hulu if you want to catch up. I watched two episodes so far and really enjoyed it.

By the way, Happy Hump Day! Almost Friday! I think, kind of, sort of, not really….

Available now at sephora.com and at ulta.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Loved the original movie, but I don’t know anything about the TV series.

oh look it up! It’s quite fun or at least I thought it was 😀

OMG I love Claude Rains…the best King John ever! And of course Louie! He’s been in most of my all-time favorite movies. That so made me smile.

As for the palette, I am completely done with NARS so-so quality for the price eyeshadows.

Don’t forget Phantom of the Opera! 🙂 I was hoping for something good in this palette! I can always count on you to sis to save me money haha!

Did you read Temptalia’s review today? I was tempted by the palette, but the review and swatches convinced me, without trying too hard, that I don’t need or even really want it. The colors look pretty all together in the pan, but swatched, just so-so. There’s nothing I could do with this palette that I couldn’t do with others I own.

I did!!!!!!! Haha didn’t work to convince me though, I ended up buying it! No willpower!

ZOMG, it’s gorgeous! But there is no way in hell I’m paying $59 for it LOL

YES!!!!! I just finished watching episode 4 of Time after Time. I’m really enjoying it too! Freddie is ADORABLE! (so glad he shaved that beard when they jumped to 2017) But now you’ve got me scratching my head. Who was he in Harry Potter?

    • Isabella Muse

I’m behind! I only watched two so far but loved those two! He’s so cute! I’m glad he shaved too 😀 much better with the smoother face! He played Cormac in HP, he had sort of curly hair in the films, ryan phillippe moment! 😀

Whoa, Freddie Stroma grew up to be hot. I haven’t seen it but will look it up to watch. Wow. BTW, loved your comment about the palette: do I need it? Probably not. Truth.

I’ve been following the tv series pretty good in my opinion with a different view of why Jack the Ripper disappeared
