Sephora Mixology Eyeshadow Palette for Spring 2017

Sephora Mixology Eyeshadow Palette ($34) is a new, interesting Spring 2017 release that includes 18 eyeshadows split into six color trios that can be mixed and matched. Like I need another eyeshadow palette right? But Sephora sometimes surprises me with their quality so, count me curious about this one.

There’s actually a really nice arrangement of shades here, particularly warmer ones which I’m all about. They also have some pretty taupes, mauves, and cranberries along with the natural shades!

So far, Sephora has been a little quiet with Spring releases but this one looks mighty tempting! This comes with a dual-sided eyeshadow brush as well. I imagine they might have a how-to-get the look guide as well but no mention of it on site!

The Sephora Mixology Eyeshadow Palette is available now at Sephora.com.

P.S. Happy Monday! How’s it going for you? Mine is busy as hell but the sun is shining and no one has driven me up a wall yet plus hey, the day is almost over yay! Did you haul any goodness from the Ulta sale today? I actually didn’t but that new Laura Geller Palette will be coming home with me shortly for sure! By the way, I’m starving and currently craving Pad Thai. I foresee a trip to Little Thai Kitchen in my future. P.S.S. They literally mean tiny, I swear the place fits like 5 people at most.

What’s your Monday looking like?

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I’ve been “eyeing” this palette since it showed up a few days ago on Sephora’s new craptastic site. I’m tempted but I think I’ll wait for several reviews because Sephora can be hit-or-miss with their eye shadows.

I have too! I’m telling myself I don’t need another natural eye palette! 😀

This palette looks gorgeous but it also reminds me of the love (not natural love) palette by Too Faced except this looks like it has more mattes. I have too many palettes right now to consider this new Sephora palette so I will admire from afar.

Awful Monday! I was up all night sick as a dog with a migraine. (Speaking of Sephora, are they teaming w/ Pantone for a collection this year? So far, I haven’t seen anything.)

    • Isabella Muse

oh no! I had one last week and it was awful! pounding! ugh! Hope you’re feeling better. I don’t think so, so far I haven’t heard anything!

No Sephora this year. Butter London got the nod. Seriously, google it. Wonder what went wrong? Even before the COTY, there were interesting offerings by Pantone/Sephora. Expect a BL eye palette. April, I think I read. But there isn’t much greenery, except in a nail shade. The lip sets don’t have a green, They GO with the color but don’t particularly channel it to me. Sephora can be iffy, but it can be great. Never tried a BL eye color yet. This palette at least bears swatching.

Oh my, the layout of this palette caught my eye. I don’t need anymore palettes, but I’m having a hard time saying no haha. I’ll wait for reviews before buying since I hate nothing more than coming home with dry & patchy shadows.

Thank you for all the reviews you do on top of your real life job. I lost track of how long I’ve been reading your blog. I think since 2010 or even before that. I always look forward to what beauty product you’ll try next.

    • Isabella Muse

Ugh let’s hope they aren’t dry and patchy! Sephora is hit and miss sometimes. Omg thank you for being such a long time reader, yen! 😀 Thank you! I’m flattered xoxoxo!

It all started with searching up Asian beauty products. Found your site and I ever looked back haha

I clicked through the gallery of the Little Thai Kitchen and their food looks delicious!! Think they deliver to Maryland? 😉

    • Isabella Muse

haha maybe through UberEats? 😀 Either that or you can come to New York and I can treat you out for some great Thai food 😀

      • Ruth

eh, it might be a bit cold by the time it arrives. coming up to NY and visiting is a much better option! =)

        • Isabella Muse

I like this idea a lot. when and where, I’ll be waiting 🙂 I’ll wear my best chucks and my greatest Supernatural tee ever.

          • Ruth

no need to fancy up for me, wear your most comfy chucks- for me, they’re usually the dirtiest! =)

  • danadoo

wow, this is so cool looking, it’s like having a little box of solar eclipses!

  • anythingirl

Well, they’ve just released this over here in Sephora Australia, and it does look nice, I might wait and see if there’s an offer or anything else I want though, they do have quite a few things on sale at the moment. It’s a fairly major event in little old Brisbane!

Hi 🙂 really helpful article :* could you maybe tell me what this palette is called? I’m a little desperate since I ccan’t find it anywhere, all the results are for the nude&fresh and the warm&sweet palette… is this another one or am I just a little colour blind? 😉 generally love sephora’s products, and this becomes a really tough mission… 😉
