Nest Eau de Parfum Collection Coffret A Delightful Way To Try Nest!

Late last week, I was chatting up the new Commodity Storybook Fragrance Gift Set which I happened to purchase as soon as it launched at Sephora! Later that night I found myself hauling out the Nest Eau de Parfum Collection Coffret ($38) because I think it’s such a delightful way to try out Nest.

I should really start this post by saying the first time I tried Nest I found the fragrances rather sweet. Don’t get me wrong, I love a sweet floral scent but sometimes it can be overkill. Somehow, someway, Nest captured more and more of my attention after I kept misting myself with a new one each time I walked into Sephora. Until one day, I found that I absolutely loved the brand (especially their new Black Tulip fragrance!).

A few months ago I purchased the Nest Eau de Parfum Collection Coffret not because I needed it. Because at this point I have already purchased and own all the Nest fragrances but because I wanted a easy travel version of my favorite scents. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the set. Would the roll-ons be as strong as the mists? Would they have lasting power? Was it even worth picking this set up?

I’ll happily tell you this is so worth your money. The set comes with seven 0.10 oz roll ons which makes up for a majority of almost all the scents Nest offers. My set is an older set but the newest one includes Black Tulip!

You get:

  • In Midnight Fleur
  • Verde
  • For Dahlia & Vines
  • Citrine
  • Indigo
  • Black Tulip
  • White Sandalwood

I truly can’t recommend the set enough. It’s a beautiful introduction to a great niche brand. As I said above, the scents take some getting used but many a truly easy enough to wear right out of the box. For example, White Sandalwood is a beautifully creamy, comforting scent that reminds me of just washed cloths drying in the Summer sun. Citrine is a delightfully zesty lemon that’s perfect for Spring! And Black Tulip, is like a darker version or Miss Dior!

I was skeptical about the rollerballs as I worried they wouldn’t be as strong as the mists. Turns out they are quite concentrated. A few rolls around my pulse points produces long wearing scent with excellent throw (so much so you’ll get asked, “What are you wearing!?”

If you’re a lover of fine fragrance I have no doubts that the Nest Eau de Parfum Collection Coffret will bring you plenty of joy.

This one is Muse Approved.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I agree with everything you said about Nest …even the compliments. My son rarely notices anything and commented on the Dahlia and Vines. This is a great deal and I love the roller ball for travel.

Right? Nest is weird for me, it was something that slowly grew on me. They have very unique sweeter florals that I absolutely adore and yes, they def draw the comments in ;D

I love indigo and black tulip! But the rest, not so much! However, I am obsessed with their candles and diffusers, I probably have one in every room now, it’s a sickly addiction lol.

yes they are! My favs are the holiday, grapefruit, and black currant! I have them for ages and they are still going strong 😀

Midnight Fleur is my signature scent. I’ve been wearing it for two years now. Nothing else smells as good.

Another vote for Nest fragrances! I bought the Midnight Fleur in rollerball & when Black Tulip came out, I bought that in rollerball. Both on me, have great staying power through the day. I only wish Sephora stores would carry the body lotions so we can get both perfume & lotion.

I really wished I loved these scents as much as everyone here does. The bottle designs are relationship material, but the juice is “just friends” for me.

I know, unpopular opinion, but I am not a huge NEST fan. Only because I’m not super into florals. I will, however, admit that I am obsessed with Black Tulip and it may be one of my three favorite fragrances (tied with Gold by Commodity and Mmmm from Juliette Has a Gun ), and White Sandalwood grew on me after I wore it a few times. I wound up gifting the rollerball trio from Sephora from xmas because I didn’t care for any of the other scents. I will say, though, that the NEST rollerballs are an amazing value, and last almost all day long on my skin.

I’m with you on Commodity Gold! That’s a fav of mine as well! 😀 I think Black Tulip is different for Nest, not the sweet floral they using go with 😀

For anyone who isn’t a fan of rollerball application, you can pick up a set of 8-10 really nice refillable misters on Amazon for under $10. It has allowed me to enjoy mini sets, deluxe samples, etc SO much more!!!

I do adore NEST. My go to fave is Passiflora, & I was lucky enough to to snag the giant 3.4oz bottle at half of during last year’s spring VIB, which was a steal; I believe some sizes of the scent are still on sale. I already knew I liked the fragrance but it has only grown on me since, & I too often get compliments, & have been asked to write down the name of what I’m wearing on more than one occasion! I’ll wear it year round but IMO it’s especially good for spring & summer so it’s just now re-entering heavy rotation!

great minds, I got passiflora on sale too 😀 I think Verde is on sale still! 😀

If they ever bring this brand over here I’ll be sure to try! I’ve yet to meet a fragrance that I’ve found to be too sweet lol. Especially since I’ve given up my beloved coke for a year (bad for collagen!), I need my sugar fix somewhere!

good luck! my best friend can’t live without diet pepsi! He’s drying to quite but he’s struggling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought these smell unseen so to speak (shopping channel). I didn’t care for them at first and I love florals. It has taken time but yes, they are growing on me. My favorites” depends on my mood for the day. I am glad you brought up Nest. A lot of people haven’t heard about this brand. Good job!
