Sephora Outrageous Effect Volume Lipgloss and a Little Monday Morning Drama Beans
On the hunt for a new plumping lipgloss? Sephora Outrageous Effect Volume Lipgloss ($12) is a new high shine lipgloss that plumpsps with peppermint oil, ginger root, and seed oils plus it gives them a high shine finish. I know some folks are wary of plumping gloss formulas because they tend to sting but I’m a total DuWop Lip Venom junkie so, I’m always looking for ones that might top that formula.
Sephora releases this one in four shades one of which, Exponential Pink, looks quite lovely!
At $12, they are worth a shot right?
Available now at Sephora.com.
P.S. I feel like I should win a major award because I actually finished Two Spirits Love. I know you love my chats about my adventures in dramaland and let me just tell you this was a long, exhausting ride. You seriously have to suspend all sense of reality with this one (but don’t you have to with all dramas?!).
So, it starts out with your cliche rich, arrogant businessman (Thun) but wait, he has an unexplained case of telekinetics (Apparently he got hit by lighting, died, and came back to life and suddenly he was able to move things with his mind! Whoa! But the explanation comes much later in the drama so, you’ll have to deal with him flinging books and stuff at the heroine for a bit!). Boy, gets angry, things fly, light bulbs explode, and $h1t gets real. Mind you, when this first happens he is in a board meeting and peeps are all like, “Ok, boss is having a bad day!” I mean, really? No one thinks it is odd light bulbs are exploding!?
Then we have our lovely leading lady, Kew. She’s your stereotypical sweet yet poor heroine who’s parents have a rather stunning farm house plus a secondary house where she and her brother reside. Wait, I thought she was poor?! Sounds like middle class to me!
As you can imagine our arrogant Khun Thun and our lovely Kew meet, butt heads, and realize that they loved and lost in a past life (the entire plot revolves around their past life and how they come together in their present reincarnation. Their Buddhists, it’s not really that hard a plot to believe if you bring religion into the equation!). After that it’s a whirlwind of she loves him, she loves him not. Kew’s stubborn as hell in most situations and Thun is also a pain in the ass. There are so many cute situations between these two it’s brilliant. Thun’s a caveman but Kew isn’t a doormat that’s for sure. However, there are so many issues with the story that you have to roll your eyes at the sheer stupidity of it all. For example, the fact that Thun’s kinda x-girlfriend and her father (they were kinda wannabe lovers in their past lives and also, trying to split Thun and Kew up in that past life! The old “Your dad was your lover in a past life” thing is a little odd to me but I’m a Westerner so, maybe I’m only seeing the weirdness in it!) are constantly plotting against Thun and Kew. I mean this dude, ends up in jail, in a mental institute, stabbed in a hospital, etc…etc..and he keeps escaping all these situations to bring down hell upon Thun and Kew. It’s actually comical towards the end because you’re sitting there like OMG how is he going to get out of handcuffs, a jail cell, and 5 people guarding him this time! But he does by some miracle.
Thun and Kew get there happily ever after after 1800000 hours of running around being stubborn about it. But can I say, I feel like I wasted so much time wishing, hoping, and yearning for their first kiss that never came. There so many cheek kisses most of which Kew shyly revoked but not once, not even on their wedding day, did these two have a single moment where their lips locked. I felt like I was robbed of the final awesome moment of romance. I mean, there was more kissing in Kiss Me and that’s a school romance drama! Kew is at least 24 years old or more! If you’re looking for lots of kissing Pin Anong might be a better drama for you because there’s so much slap and kiss moments in that one your eyes will cross. Never mind the sheer amount of drama cliches evil mother character and all!
In the end, Two Spirits Love isn’t going to win an Emmy but it sure will make you think how adorable Mario is and how great his hair always looks even after someone tries to stab him, run over him, and kill him in any number of other ways. His hair does not move (except when he’s playing Mek! Don’t get me into that area of the story line or we’ll be here all damn day).
I mean, look at these two don’t they just give you the feels!
That’s your Monday morning drama beans. If you wanna watch Two Spirits Love you can catch it on dailymotion.com.
