Try Two Shades of Bobbi Brown Lip Art Art Stick Liquid Lip for $22

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Bobbi’s new Lip Art Art Stick Liquid Lip launched earlier this Spring in a variety of delicious shades (Hello, those ones with the Havana Brights Collection look divine!). I haven’t actually tried them yet because I’m not convinced I’ll love the squeeze tube packaging! I actually thought they were packaged like the Clinique Chubby Plump & Shine Liquid Lip Plumping Gloss in the fact you twist/click and color releases into the applicator. But ahhh nope! They are actually a squeeze tube which for some reason seems messy to me.

So, I haven’t quite gone there yet to try ’em. The semi-matte formula is apparently quite creamy from reviews I read and has a good wear (not sure about that 8 hours Bobbi Brown promises but the wear is good from what I’ve heard).

If you’ve been wanting to try them now is a good time to do so as this new Mini Art Stick Liquid Lip is available at Sephora.com. I included this one in my top makeup and beauty picks for the Sephora sale because it’s $22 bucks plus the additional 15% makes it an even sweeter deal.

You get English Rose in this set which is a nude and Uber Red which is a bright red. These are 0.07 oz in size, so plenty to try before you indulge in a larger size!

Pretty nifty deal right?

P.S. I’m dying for an iced vanilla macchiato today. Oddly enough, I am NOT a coffee drinker but I have a craving for a macchiato from time to time and today is one of those days. Anyone willing to go grab me one?

Will pay in free makeup 🙂

I read a lot of reviews about this babys and yep, everyone wrote “the packaging sucks”. But I just saw the “Perfect Nude” shade on a french blogger (on Instagram Stories) and I’m in love – with the shade, not the blogger.

So I think I will try asap. Unfortunatly, Sephora France mess up (only one shade is available, for… 60/65$ !).

    Enjoy your macchiato !

Hey Clemence 🙂 I feel like we haven’t talked in ages! Heck I might owe you a reply because I’m so backed up with comments 😀 I haven’t tried them but the packaging was a big turn off now you have me curious about the nude shade 😀 email me, I’d be happy to get this for you if you like! Thanks haha I convinced my friend to bring me one to my office. Currently sipping on it now!

Yeah, I was kinda busy this last months, so I was never connected (yep, pretty unbelievable but right).
You’re so sweet, I’ll email you (this week I hope), but not for buying anything 😉

Likewise, always so crazed around here I totally can relate ;-D Aw my pleasure always! Looking forward to your email 😀

Yeah, I feel the same way about those applicators. I have one of those Korean peel-off lip stain things and it has a similar applicator, and if that one is anything to go by, this is not going to produce any kind of semi-precise edges.

I purchased this a few weeks ago and am NOT impressed. The application process is truly messy and, honestly, downright dumb, and the wear time is also not good. Leave these on the shelf where they belong!

Yeah, the squeeze tube is awful. I love the English Rose color but ugh.

    • Isabella Muse

I still have to try, the damn packaging is preventing me from indulging 😀

    Hey muse

Any chance that you’ll be getting your hands on em cosmetics Infinite Lip Cloud? Looks pretty cool.

    • Isabella Muse

Hey Ming! I saw the relaunch of Em and got excited for a potential new concealer 🙂 but the Lip Cloud didn’t quite grab my attention so, I didn’t indulge! But if I do at some point will def review 😀

Man I miss the Vanilla macchiato so much! Lol I’m pretty much on a one woman twitter campaign to get Starbucks to bring it back.
