The Man in Black Fled Across the Desert and This Bobbi Brown Glow Stick Followed!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

The Bobbi Brown Glow Stick is available in some fabulous shades today for Summer 2017 and by the very way, you know what else is available today? The bogus but brilliant Dark Tower movie trailer.

My mind is saying YES, yes, yes Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey in a film together but my heart is crying at how they butchered a beloved series of novels. Well, it’s no surprise we all knew this wasn’t going to go down well. But still there’s something dynamic

It’s ok, let’s comfort ourselves with this shimmery Bobbi Brown Glow Sticks.

I’m determined to get my glow down correctly this Summer. Baby steps though….! These creamy, lightweight highlighters look like they’ll add color as well as shimmer to my faces for a healthy glow.

Shades:

  • Bikini
  • Desert Sun
  • Island
  • Island Plum
  • Nude Beach
  • Sunkissed

I was hoping they’d have a NARS Orgasm-like shade. I can’t get enough of golden pinky peaches. Island Plum is tempting though.

These are on sale now at nordstrom.com (10% Off).

Whatcha think?

Is one coming home with you?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ouf that trailer. Looks like a bad gritty remake of neverending story. I love Idris but I don’t know where they are going with this action movie vibe. Trying to make the dark tower story have mass appeal is futile.

LOL! That’s an interesting take. I love Idris too as well as Matthew but I also love the books and this is very “loosely” based on the novels.

These glow sticks look very pretty but I think I will pass for now. I was on a Bobbi Brown kick for a while, but now I’m embarrassed by how much I’ve paid for some of her products that end up just sitting there, performance just meh. Plus, I have a Nars multi-stick that looks similar to some of these, that I never ever use, not sure why. BUT Muse I have a request. Will you please do a post later this summer about how you are coming along on your quest to nail the glow? I’d love to see how a real-life woman incorporates highlighting without going full strobe. Your pictures are always pretty and so much more realistic than what you see on most of the internet.

wow that’s flattering Emily 🙂 I suck at taking photos and I’m not the most photographic person in the world, it’s rather flattering to hear you actually like the pics I do 🙂 Yes, sure, remind me as we head deeper in the Summer and I’ll share how I’m doing with the glow! I’m waiting for NARS to launch their Orgasm liquid highlighter, I have hopes that will be the one that I can actually use correctly haha!

I never read the novel and am generally not a fan of Stephen King (because of IT really. LOL! Nightmares from my childhood), but I like Matthew McConaughey as a devil. LOL. He’s getting older, but he’s still handsome in my opinion, but hey, I like good looking bad-ass characters who dress in dark suits. Haha!

These look nice. But Idris looks better. No one is more about Idris than I am. He figures prominently in my fantasy bf pix. A little young, but everyone needs a fantasy boy toy. McConna …can’t spell it… isn’t bad, either. But even I wouldn’t watch them in a turkey.

I can’t tell you how much I loved the title of this post, lol. I do think I need a glow stick in my life too…

It’s actually the next (and final) stage in Roland’s journey, picking up from the end of the seventh book. This isn’t a spoiler because it’s already been revealed that he is carrying the Horn of Eld this time. They are taking elements from all the books and sprinkling them through the film(s). WIZARD AND GLASS will apparently make up a television series which makes sense as there has to be Roland is a younger man (so no need for McConaughy) and The Man in Black makes only a brief appearance.
