Lorac Alter Ego Hydrating Lip Stain and Other New Makeup Goodies

Lorac Alter Ego Hydrating Lip Stain ($19) is a new pigmented stain that the brand launched in 10 shades for the Summer 2017. Can I tell you, I used to be obsessed with lip stains a several years ago! They totally used to be my jam but I’ve never actually used one in a stick formula. Most of my stains were gels or more commonly, liquids. Alter Ego Hydrating Lip Stain’s formula comes in a standard lipstick barrel and promises a highly pigmented formula that coats lips in a long wearing stain that’s formulated with hydrating ingridents like jojoba and primrose oil as well as shea and mango butters.

These are $19 each or you can get the Alter Ego Hydrating Lip Stain Duo Set that includes Nude Peach and Berry for $26. These kind of remind me of Bite Beauty Multisticks in size and shape!

Lorac also reformulated some of their setting powder products as well. They are offering a new Pro Blurring Translucent Pressed Powder ($32) as well as a Pro Blurring Translucent Loose Powder ($32) which contains natural peppermint, hmm interesting! This one acts to brighten, absorb oil, and set makeup for shine-free wear all day.

I was hoping for some new eyeshadow palette for Summer 2017 but right now they are marketing the Pirates of the Caribbean Eyeshadow Palette heavily for Spring/Summer so, I imagine the next time we see something new in color from them will be for Fall 2017.
