About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.

Are these limited only to the US? I cannot find them on the Sephora website, possibly becuase I am in Canada??

    • Isabella Muse

I’m not sure, I don’t really know about the Canada stocks/LEs, etc sorry 🙁

  • Claire L

Ooh I want both! But I agree with you that the Glow set is definitely lovely!

  • Allison

They aren’t available on the Canadian site. I just checked. Canadian’s” always get the short end of the stick. Either not available in Canada or grossly overpriced because of the exchange rate. Ugh!

  • Emily

Both of these have hits and misses for me. Why does every sample of the Becca have to be in Opal? I feel like I’ve gotten that color 100 times already! There’s a lot of goodness in that glow bag, though. I like the travel one too, many products I already like or want to try, but it has the Caudalie Beauty Elixir which I hate so much, I wouldn’t even want to give it to a friend. Oh, what to do?!

    • Erin

Right? I mean I like Opal, but agree that I have several sample sizes. And I am pretty sure between value sets like this and UD palettes, I have about a dozen Half Baked eyeshadows as well. I will still probably get this set though 🙂

      • Emily

So true on the Half Baked, and also that Too Faced bronzer (though I must say, I use those both, not in heavy rotation, but it’s not like they’re colors/products I’d never use).

  • RainbowD

Both sets are very meh, especially the Travel one. In the Sunkissed Glow one, all the colors are unflattering on my skin tone. The best thing is the metallic bronze-y bag, if it looks as good in person as it does in the picture. The Travel bag – I’ve already tried most of the stuff, and they’re overrated/subpar.

Sephora needs to stop including the same things in all the sets. And it needs to gear its contents towards people with different skintone and undertone – not just fair-skinned, pink or peach-toned Caucasian girls.

Thanks for the heads up ! I hate when ever I miss a new Favorite!
