About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I need it I have more nude palette s than one person could use in 6 lifetimes but I need it

I thought so too. I timed a good screen shot and have a still of the inside. Its pretty. I own very similar palettes. But not with the flames!

  • Maria

Me too Muse. Tarte has too many Browns and neutrals palettes. After a while, they all look the same.

  • Alexis

I get Autumn is all about browns and warm colours but can we have something other than a nude or neutral palette? Please give me something unique that no other brand has already with only one row of transition shades.

    • Erin

      YES.

Where are the true coppers? The oranges? the unique colors that don’t turn into one color when you wear them.

From what I can tell, this reminds me of the NARS Fully Loaded palette…

I’ve been contemplating the previous Tartlette palettes, and finally decided I will pick them up soon, so this will also likely join the bunch.

Tartelette In Bloom is one of my all time favorites! I’ve hit pan on multiple shades. The Tarte Metallic singles are quite nice. I just bought the original (all matte) Tartelette palette for a second time. I had initially bought it a year ago and returned it. I just gave it another shot and I’m enjoying it. Picked up Tarteist Pro last week during Ulta’s 20 OFF coupon. I got it home and one pan is broken so I have to exchange it. Excited to try it. Tarte is one of my favorite brands as I’m not very adventurous with crazy colors. I’m sure Ulta will include some Tarte products in the upcoming 21 Days of Beauty event (9/3-9/23).

Really reminds me the latest Narsissist loaded palette, it looks like a double. Kinda disappointing for a brand like Tarte.

(also, the Nars x Charlotte Gainsbourg’s collection wasn’t exciting either, or maybe I’m just embittered)

I ended up returning the In Bloom palette as I knew I wouldn’t use every shade. This one is much more me. I may “need” it!

They had me at the toasted packaging. It looks like flames! I have a lot of their palettes. I like their quality and though they do not have a scented theme like TF, they smell amazing.

I need another eyeshadow palette like I need a third boob, but I will be picking this bad boy up when it launches.

I’ve been wanting to try Tarte because I don’t have anything from them yet. Even though I don’t reeeeally need it lol

  • Virginia

I’d have to say..normally I’d be all. “Really tarte ?!” But their Tartlette in Bloom palette and their Matte palette are my jam. So I’m actually excited to see this.

  • Natalie

I only have the one Urban Decay Naked palette. I haven’t used it much. But that Toasted palette looks nice. I do agree the video is slightly annoying.

The only thing I find interesting is the packaging. I’m a sucker for flame motifs. But then it was opened and… I was bored. With that kind of design on the outside, I would like to have seen some bolder oranges and reds inside. Instead… more brown and neutrals. I think there has been such a glut of these types of colour schemes in recent years that I just cannot be excited about them anymore.

As far as I can tell, the shades are nothing like In Bloom. In Bloom had an assortment of warm shades, but on the whole was much cooler and more neutral than this. This is very warm, leaning heavily towards the oranges, caramels, bronzes, chocolate etc. Very unlike In Bloom, IMO. It does look a lot like the new theBalm palette, Nude Beach. I might have to make a decision between the two – I don’t have any palettes with these shades yet!

I didn’t say they it was anything like In Bloom, just that it’s the third Tartelette Palette they created 🙂

I don’t know how I missed this post! People are forever conplaining about tarte and all the same. The way i see it just don’t buy it. I adore the formula and nudes so keep making them! Im hitting pan on most of my tarte palettes so this is perfect timing.
I do get the complaint about all the same but if you look at most brands they reproduce and repackage alot i think.
