Too Faced Born This Way Setting Powder Set to Give You Angelic Skin

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Too Faced Born This Way Setting Powder Ethereal Setting Powder ($32) is arriving our way on June 15th and I feel oddly compelled to purchase it. You know me, as a dry skin girl I typically avoid setting with powder but Too Faced Born This Way Setting Powder makes it seem like I’m about to get angelic skin. Suddenly, I’m thinking about being Emmanuelle Béart in Date with An Angel. Perfectly angelic flawless skin!

I swear I’ve watched way too many 80’s movies in this life time. In reality, this powder is probably a glitter bomb! Apparntly it creates a veil of perfecting luminosity with a natural finish that will leave you with Born this Way skin! Of course, Urban Decay beat Too Faced to the punch as they launched their new Naked Skin The Illuminizer Translucent Pressed Beauty Powder late last month.

My mentality and excuse for purchasing this when it launches is 1. I’ll totally look like Emmanuelle Béart after applying a fine dusting and 2. I like and use Born This Way Foundation so, of course I need the matching face powder. Makes sense right? I like to think so.

Too Faced Born This Way Setting Powder arrives first at toofaced.com.

Will you be purchasing it?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Hmm. Love the packaging but I just bought 2 of the UD Naked skin loose powders that are being disc….I really like those, and don’t find them drying or that they make me look prunish… Since you’re gonna get this, Imma wait and see what you have to say about it…. I love me a good finishing powder, and am always game for another one! (like the sucker I am… Sigh….)

Hmmm… Very interested! I love their Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder, so will check this out.

I agree…absolutely will not be purchasing! Being mid thirties…im sure it would give me an all over glitter face too lol. Pass!

Setting powder does not inspire me to search for the holy grail. Got It for cheap, use it rarely. If I look, they are usually a wrong shade or have bad-for-me-only ingredients. Like all other products, there are so many, and we are all but badgered into thinking we need a slew of them. We don’t. Bloggers do, so you are exempt from any flights of fancy about any acquisition. As long as you keep giving us the true skivvy about them!

I will be waiting for your review before I make my decision. I’ve caved and bought the It Cosmetics QVC TSV recently, primarily because I needed another cleansing balm and wanted to try the serum, and I’m still on the fence regarding the illuminating bye-bye pores powder. I suspect the Too Faced powder will be similar, albeit at loose form .

I have dry skin and really love Josie Maran coconut water hydrating powder. When I can find it!
