How cutes are these new Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Minis that launched at Sephora.com today? Available in four shade selections these mini sets get you four mini Huda Liquid Matte Lipstick shades (0.064 oz). I got one of the duos over the Holidays and really liked the lightweight, creamy formula which didn’t try out my lips!

Shades include:

  • Red Edition: Heartbreaker (a man-eating pinkish red), Material Girl (a fierce plum), Showgirl (a brand new lascivious metallic red), Famous (an effortlessly chic burgundy)
  • Nude Edition: Venus (a heavenly taupe-brown), Bombshell (an irresistible peachy nude), Flirt (a cheeky brown), Trendsetter (a stylish brown nude)
  • Pink Edition: Gossip Gurl (the everyday cute pink), Trophy Wife (an all-time rose wood), Icon (an elegant reddish-pink), Socialite (a brand new glitzy rose gold)
  • Brown Edition: Trendsetter (a stylish brown nude), Flirt (a cheeky brown), Spice Girl (an iconic 90s brownish mauve) and Vixen (a poisonous deep brown)

Each set is $33! Now you just have to decide which set you need! I’m leaning towards Nude Edition and Pink Edition or maybe Red Edition too…..

Damn! There goes my money.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Three of the 4 in the “Red” collection are really more berry, I think – plums and burgundy, based on their descriptions.

Muse, you’ve tried this formula? How’s the staying power? (Still searching…)

    • Isabella Muse

Quite creamy, little drying on my already dry lips but remains fairly smooth and even for a good six hours before it starts to patch up a little for me! 🙂

On me it dried a lot. Was so sad. I like the staying power. 😀

I got patchiness at hour six so had to remove. It’s light but if you already have drier lips it can def suck any little bit of moisture right from your lips 😀

I like the look of the pink edition the best. Very wearable colours and this is a great way to try them out.

So pissed at myself. I bought the pink edition on eBay for…wait for it….$65. I don’t know what I was thinking.

It’s the real deal, at least, unlike the other crap I’ve ended up with on eBay. All coconut scented and formula feels the same as my other Huda Liquid Mattes. But dang, I could have bought TWO. Because the nude edition is calling to me. Ugh! Lesson learned. No more late night shopping with eyes half closed!

Does anyone have any info on when and where the Tarte Toasted Palette will launch? Can’t wait, can’t wait!!! Hope Ulta gets it. I’m saving my points for it, just in case 😉
