Revlon Bombshell Red Lustrous Lipstick is one of several new shades that launched with the Revlon Street Chic Lustrous Lipstick Collection for Summer 2017. Each shade in the collection represents and is inspired by a city. Bombshell Red is inspired by Mexico City.

If you’re a fond fan of the Revlon Lustrous Lipstick line you’ll be excited about the extension of shades in the Street Chic Collection. These aren’t limited edition and will be added to the core collection as we head into the Fall 2017 season.

I’m a fond fan of the Lustrous Lipstick formula which led to be purchasing a few of the shades in this collection. Bombshell Red isn’t actually red but more a berry red with medium color pay off that has a creamy, slightly balmy texture that applied smoothly and evenly on lips with absolutely no fragrance or flavor. The color wears for a solid four hours and leaves behind a slight staining effect as it wears away. It feels quite comfortably on my lips through the way and provided very light hydration. I’ve always felt like the Lustrous Lipstick line was quite like MAC’s Lustre Lipstick perhaps that’s why I like MAC’s formulation. It’s just a really nicely texture lipstick for my drier lips.

Bombshell Red isn’t exactly a shade I’d reach for in the Summer but I know it’ll be a favorite come the Fall weathers which I can’t wait for. Hurry Fall, hurry!
