It’s Still Summer and Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow Trios Are Perfect for the Warm Weather

Contrary to what Too Faced has you believing today with news of their Holiday 2017 Collection it’s still very much Summer. It was late coming here in New York but now it’s here and it’s humid. Like my mom says, it’s so humid you can cut it with a knife. If you live Arizona, god bless your little soul as the temps are soaring. I shouldn’t moan too much about Gotham’s weather as it isn’t nearly as bad. When you’re walking outside and your flip flops are sticking to the pavement that’s some seriously hot weather. New York hasn’t reached that realm of Hades hot yet.

None the less, all the talk of Fall and Holiday Collections should be pushed aside today. Let’s just embrace the Summer and doing so with these new Bobbi Brown Peach Love Beach Eyeshadow Trios seems like just the thing.

I have to admit, it’s been a while since I hauled anything Bobbi Brown. Well side, from the new Bobbi Brown Instant Full Cover Concealer which sucked because of a really bad applicator choice. I’m terribly guilty of hauling all three of these new eyeshadow palettes though!

Trio Peace, a pool side trio of shades is divine. I avoid blue shadows lately but this shimmery aquatic selection of pool shades was just too good to pass up!

I’m so used to saying “Bobbi released these…” I keep forgetting Bobbi is gone. Sad sign!

Ahem, let’s start over. The brand released these in three different versions each of which is inspired by the elements. There’s Trio Peace a selection of shades that remind me of Urban Decay Kiddie Pool. Trio Love, my second favorite trio of shades which is a gorgeous smoky taupe assortment. And Trio Beach a selection of sandy golds and beiges.

They are truly gorgeous palettes and perfect for the warmer weather.

You get your hands on them now at Nordstrom.com.
Anyone pick them up?

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. Greetings Muse from AZ! Where yes indeed, temps are soaring. And the humidity is high for the desert due to the monsoon season. The misery is indescribable. Makeup is a joke here at this time of the year. I haven’t met a product yet that won’t just melt off your face during the middle of the day. I consider myself lucky if I can get sunscreen to stay on.

While I agree these do look pretty, I was cracking up at the price! $40? This is why I don’t own any Bobbi Brown makeup. Waaaaay too over priced in my opinion!

speaking of rehash, I believe BB had all 3 blue shades in earlier palettes, 90s maybe, seaglass or grass or w…ever. I forget the names now. (New! Earthshattering. Not so much.) they were in the linear palettes a little bigger than a finger, with ~12 or so shades, no divider in between shades. All the shades ran together both figuratively and literally. Passable for a one and done. Not really big on bobbi shadows. But they do smack of summer. Maybe the formula improved….
