ColourPop Concealer Get In My Belly

There are hits and there are misses when it comes to Colourpop but no on can argue the budget friendly price tag. I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t get the Lippie Stix love! I try really hard to understand the formula and I even have several shades I ADORE (I’m talking to you Aquarius) but man, most of the finishes tug and drag like a b1tch on my drier lips.

None the less, there’s no doubt Colourpop keeps us on our toes with budget friendly makeup options and today they ventured into the world of concealer.

I GOT DOWN MY KNEES AND I BEGAN TO PRAY when I heard this. You are so welcome for that Mamas and Papas moment.

Anyway, Colourpop No Filter Concealer is a mere $6 bucks each and available in 15 shade selections from light to deep. The formula is apparently crease-proof, lightweight, and formulated with blurring pigments that act to make all those imperfections disappear.

Problem…

It’s a matte finish. Nobody panic. I saw a few Instagram vids they did and it appears quite easy to blend and hydrating as hey, Tarte Shape Tape is matte and still works a treat for me! I’m hopeful I’ll experience the same with Colourpop’s formula.

And I can’t lose much at six bucks right?

Review on the way as soon as I get my order.

Did you indulge?

Color pop items sold out too fast. I was on website 15 minutes after launch and most of stuff sold out. I do not know how you purchased these items Muse.

I was LATE! I’m at work and it launched at 1PM EST and I got a call from a client so ended up on the site at 1:30 and I put three shades in my cart as well as the Yes Please palette which showed in stock. Sadly, no luck on the Yes please as I was checking out it disappeared. But I did get the concealers 😀

  • Maria

Yes please sold out right away again. It is crazy. Color pop should have more stick available for all the customers.

Can’t wait to see your review on this! A good $6 concealer would be awesome.

Ooh, I’d love to try this, but I hate ordering from Colourpop! LOL! I guess I’m lucky that I don’t have dark circles to conceal and can rely on a highlighter to brighten up the area, but I have acne scars, and if these cover those while still looking smooth and light, my search will be over. The fair shade looks dark in swatches, though, and I’m a pale pale person!

    • Isabella Muse

oh no why? Don’t go by their swatches, I always find them WAY off!

  • Jules

Can’t wait for your review! Fingers crossed that a 6 buck concealer gets Muse Approved!!! I’m curious to see how the shades look on you….based on the swatches at Temptalia, it looks like the lighter shades run a bit dark.

    • Isabella Muse

They do! Her swatches look quite dark so I hope I got the right shades!!!!!!!!! Jeez I hope I found a new concealer to love for that price point 😀

  • diane

the concealer junkie in me wants this but i am going to wait for your review first =)

    • Paula

Me too! Going to wait for your reviews. It’s so hit and miss with Colourpop. Yes, they are cheap, but you have to buy 6 to like 2 of them, so is there really a savings? I mean once you find the good colors, yes, but you have to spend a lot to find what you like.

      • Isabella Muse

LOL that’s true especially with their lip products. Out of five I’ll like one! 😀

Can’t wait for my order to arrive- went with 2 shades of concealer. I managed to snag Yes Please last restock and it’s so worth it. Ok maybe I added in 1 bronzer & 1 highlighter to my order- for their prices I can’t resist trying it ALL.

    • Isabella Muse

I would like to say we hate you lol 🙂 I wasn’t able to get the Yes Please Palette damn! boo! Hiss! I’m going to steal yours 😀

  • Cheryl

No new launch will be purchased unless/until it receives Muse review and approval… particularly new launches that need to be returned by mail!

  • Jana

Hahaha! Love the California Dreamin’ video!! Great song,…definitely a 70’s video! 😀

    • Isabella Muse

😀 I love the Mamas and the Papas totally my jam 😀

      • genevieve

That is my favourite song of all time and I loved that group too.

  • Jennifer@ Mrs Q Beauty

I’m curious about this one. I love the B H Cosmetics Studio Pro Concealers, but the packaging is awful. When it’s full, it squirts out, and when it’s emptier… it’s hard to get out.

  • Krizthal

I finally got mine in the mail. I got medium 30. Perfect shade for my skin, could be a dupe for my shape tape…..HOWEVER, this oxidized like hell on me. It went a shade or two down! I’m so mad! Beware folks…..I wish I ordered a shade much lighter!

      • Krizstyle

I think someone should do a timelapse on these. I hope you get yours soon, I don’t want to be the only crazy person going mad about them.

        • Isabella Muse

I’ll def review soon! they screwed up my order so still waiting!
