One of the nicest drugstore purchases I made recently were a few of the new L’Oreal Infallible Paints Eyeshadow Metallics. The Summer has been filled with metallic everything and word on the street is that Fall 2017 we’ll be seeing more of the trend. L’Oreal just released a new range of Infallible Lip Paint Metallic shades that I really liked so I had high hopes that the Infallible Paints Eyeshadow Metallics would have an equally great formula.

Here’s my review and thoughts.

L’Oreal Infallible Paints Eyeshadow Metallics arrive your way in five different shades which are priced at around $6.99 to $8.99 depending where you buy them. Each shadow is housed in a clear square case that’s 0.09 oz in size. The eyeshadows have a beehive raised design imprinted on each and the formula can be used either dry or wet for a foiled look.

I was really impressed with the texture, blendability, and pigmentation of these shadows. These have a slurry-like texture with an creamy consistency even though they are a powder. They have excellent pigmentation and a single swipe yields beautiful color and pigment on lids. They blend very easily but do have a little fall out during the application. The texture is beautiful and applies like a dream. These don’t really have a liquid metal look and finish unless you wet them in my opinion but they do have a nice glimmery sheen on eyes that isn’t frosty looking because as you know I always feel like metallics look terribly frosty on me. They also aren’t a glitter or shimmer bomb. If you apply them wet they really stand out as they have a gorgeous foiled look and appearance. You’ll also experience a lot less fall out when using a dampened brush for application.

I have one problem with them. More shades please! I’d love to see an entire range of shades in this formula!

L’Oreal Infallible Paints Eyeshadow Metallics doesn’t disappoint. This formula packs on pigment with a soft, creamy texture that’s easy to blend and looks fabulous on eyes.

Don’t miss out! Pick up a shade or two and find out for yourself.

I bought them and really like using them. Wish they had more colors. Btw love the way you color coordinated your clothes with the make up. The pink is my favorite look along with the pretty floral top

Aw thanks lol! I’m a goof with the color coordinating 🙂 I wish they had more shades too! These have such a lovely soft texture! Shame they only have five shades!

I’m for her Caged look all the way! These should expand, bec so far, big hit. I think you have to look good in all colors to be a successful beauty blogger; they have to cover the universe of shades, even when they personally might gravitate to others. These look great for a one and done.

All three look great on you but the pink is my favorite and now I must have it! 😀

ITA, more colors please. I got them a few weeks ago and haven’t stop using them almost daily. And I could only find three of the five colors? 🙁

    • Isabella Muse

check online! Most online retailers have them all in stock 😀

I’m intrigued. I may have to try one or two. I did spot these at Walgreens and was disappointed in the lack of shades. (They had only three or four left, too, so even less than the initial five.)

shade selection is limited but the formula is awesome 🙂

The Caged color is stunning on you! I have brown eyes too and will def be picking that one up!

Gah! Caged is gorgeous! I do not need more eyeshadow but now I have to buy that color.

Gosh – these ARE good! Love that there is no glitter bomb either. Love the Caged and Brass Knuckles shades the best and they all look lovely on you. I do like that lipstick you are wearing in the photo with the Caged eye shadow, what is it – if you don’t mind me asking.
