The Internet is currently going crazy over this new Milk Makeup Blur Liquid Matte Foundation ($40) that’s being added to the brand’s permanent collection for Fall 2017.

Milk set out to create a full coverage concealer that was comfortable to wear while being easy to apply and wear. This formula promises pigmented, full-coverage in a serum-like formula that feels weightless on skin.

According to Dianna Ruth, Milk Makeup COO and Co-Founder, “Creating a full coverage foundation was a natural extension for us and a request we received time and again.” Considering many of Milk Makeup offers tend to be on the sheerer more natural side of the makeup fence this is a step up from their nom.

The foundation was created with the intention to use the new Blur Stick Primer prior to application to minimize pores and imperfection and apply the new Blur Liquid Matte Foundation on top for even, smooth coverage.

They spent some extra time on the packaging as well as this contains an airless tip that minimizes exposure to air which keeps the formula fresher and also prevents it from oxidizing over time.

Although it provides full coverage it’s still a formula that promises to allow your skin to breath. It contains no silicones and is oil-free. Tiny microspheres in the formula blur imperfections while the matte finish keeps shine and oil at bay without drying out skin.

It’s available in 16 shade selections for $40 each at sephora.com now.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Too much time on packaging, and not enough time on pale shades. The lightest shade is too dark and yellow
