Goodal Moisture Barrier Liquid is a 3-in-1 formula that acts as a toner, serum, and emulsion to hydrate skin and provide long term moisture retention. This is definitely one of those products you want to add to your routine if you’re looking to keep your skin smooth and soft. It’s a product that will keep skin looking youthful thanks to the moisture retention it provides as skin will appear brighter, happier, less dull, and more hydrate.

Here’s the details!

Goodal Moisture Barrier Liquid is an emulsion but I’ve gotten away with using it as an essence of sorts. I apply it after cleansing my face and prior to any other skincare in my routine. I reserve it for evening use but it can just as easily be used in your daily routine as well since it isn’t greasy nor does it create shine or oiliness. The formula is that of a thicker gel texture that absorbs easily into skin and has a light, light fresh almost lemony fragrance.

But as I said the formula is meant to be used in place of moisturizer. Emulsions can be a tricky topic of conversation as people automatically assume they are essences which tend to have a similiar consistency. Emulsions act as a more lightweight moisturizer that can be used in place of your facial moisturizer or can be used prior to other skincare as a serum of sorts. Emulsions tend to be a lot less richer than facial moisturizers and typically gel-like in texture which allows them to be lighter yet still deliver powerful hydrating benefits. I’ve been known to use this as my moisturizer as warmer days since it’s so light, quick to absorb, and doesn’t feel heavy while still delivering the moisture that my skin needs. Emulsions are a great product for those with oily or combination skin for this reason. This also contains Niacinamide which is known for it’s brightening and anti-inflammatory benefits.

I’ve always, always said that moisture is the key to easing dullness and making skin look younger. This is one of those products that will go a long way at giving your complexion a much needed boost of moisture that in turn will give a plusher, plumper and less dull appearance.

I love how well this helps my skin retain moisture I also like that it doesn’t leave me feeling greasy or oily. Within seconds it sets and leave skin soft and smooth but not with an oily or greasy film.

If you’re skin is looking a little dull I highly recommend injecting a little Goodal Moisture Barrier Liquid into your routine. Use it prior to moisturizer or use it as your moisturizer, either way will have your tired, dull skin looking bright and smooth again.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Alcohol is pretty high on the list. But thanks for clarifying ’emulsion ‘ versus the other steps. Lots of folks are trying to simplify. Maybe will check out Cosrx, Mizon, Innisfree, Manyo emulsions. It can be difficult when you’re oily/dehydrated.
