Things I Need from Clarins Right Now Thank God for the Discount

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Clarins.com has 15% Off your total using promo code FIFTEEN and thank god for that discount because I absolutely need Mission Perfection Eye Broad Spectrum SPF 15 and new Double Serum everyone keeps raving my ear off about.

Clarins Mission Perfection Eye Broad Spectrum SPF 15 is a color correcting cream that contains acerola which actually acts to brighten darkness over time. The sheer tinted formula brightens the area and acts as a corrector of sort for brown or blue dark circles. It apparently acts to give eyes a perkier appearance if they are prone to looking tired or fatigued. Acerola isn’t something that will provide visible results overnight but it is pretty good about brightening out a complexion with daily use as it’s an ingredient commonly found in many Japanese facial moisturizers and serums. How it does under eyes remains to be seen but I do want to check this one out.

The new Clarins Double Serum is also on my list. It’s being wildly reviewed at the moment across the blogsphere and getting pretty raving reviews. This one promises to firm, even skin tone, and add radiance to dull skin. It contains plant extracts including Turmeric which is apparently an excellent anti-aging ingredient.

I’ve been holding off on purchasing both of these but now I can finally indulge!

lol 😀 As soon as I try will give the good word (or bad one).

Is there anything different formula wise in the new serum compared to the old one? I stocked up on the double serum deal during the Nordstrom sale (the old formula) so now I’m like ok?? Do I need the new one too?

    • Isabella Muse

I’m not sure I never tried the old one and I just ordered the new one so haven’t really compared them!

I wish they listed the complete ingredients on their site! (You too, Clinique!) The only Clarins product I’ve bought is the instant light lip balm perfector, and I happen to be wearing it today. It’s OK, but I have much less expensive products that do the job better. I’ve had samples of other products of theirs, sunscreens and stuff, nice, but nothing has ever blown me away. Both of the products you’ve mentioned sound intriguing, especially the eye thing. I look forward to your reviews.

Thanks for the code. I had been waiting for a sale (or a code GWP at Macy’s) to order a couple things. I got a sample of the eye cream to try but curious to hear your thoughts too. I have a couple favorites from Clarins esp. the lip oils and perfectors. Do you have any favorites that you’d recommend?

    • Isabella Muse

My pleasure Kim! 🙂 Joli Rouge Lipstick=DIVINE! Best lipstick ever! Ombre Matte Eyeshadow is pretty brilliant as well!

I love the Clarins Everlasting Foundation in Linen 01 – which is sadly discontinued and I am not sure whether their new Ivory shade is the same. Why Clarins?
Their lip balm is pretty jolly good and the serum, which I am currently using is fabulous. 15% off is a good, but not great (like, say 40%) sale.
