YSL Tatouage Couture Matte Stain for Fall 2017

Yves Saint Laurent Tatouage Couture Matte Stain joins the trend of combining liquid lipstick with the long-wear of a stain. Honestly, I’ve having a hard time differentiating between long-wear lipstick and matte liquid stains. It’s like the same exact thing right!? Or am I going crazy…?

But hey, who knows…

Either way these new weightless stains actually give the feel of wearing nothing at all but still provide a comfortable, pigmented matte finish that moves with your lips and never dries out. They promise to provide eight hours of wear with a tattoo-like finish that leaves lips drenched in color for hours without fading.

I still think long-wear lipstick versus long-wear liquid lip stain is up for debate. Needless to say these aren’t the lip stains we’ve been privy to in the past.

You can get your hands on them now at sephora.com for $36 each.

Off topic and P.S. Who even knew an Ice Dragon would take down the wall in like 5 seconds! Blink and you would have missed it! How are they going to get out of this? Do we really need to wait until next year to see what happens? Will Jon and Dany remain a couple? Will Bran finally develop a personality? These are the questions that keep me up at night!

Team Ice Dragon if he brings down Cersei!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ok, OK. I didn’t come here to talk about lipstick… It’s gonna be All about GOT! I KNEW that damn ice dragon was going to take down the wall, but what I didn’t know was that Sansa was going to grow a HUGE set of balls and take down the conniving Little Finger! I had to pick my jaw up off the ground after that scene! I just knew that Jon Snow and Danerys were going to do the horizontal hokey pokey as soon as the show revealed that they were related! I’m basically going crazy with disappointment over this being the end of the season.. HOW CAN THEY DO THIS TO US???

LOL bring it! ;-D I had my doubts. I thought he’d make a dent in the wall but take the whole god damn thing down? NO freaking way! I was sitting their mouth hanging open! I was dancing when she took him down! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you read the Bran/Night King theory on Reddit?! OMFG!

that’s the REAL question! I say yes! He’s fine….! I don’t think they’d kill him off that way!

So I don’t watch GoT (shrug). Probably the only person in the universe that doesn’t but I abhor violence in my entertainment. I came here to say….NOT ANOTHER MATTE LIPPIE! Why? Why? Do we need more of these? I swear I have yet to see a lip swatch of a matte liquid lipstick or matte lippie of any kind that does the wearer any favors. Every one I’ve seen makes the wearers lips look puckered and dry and parched and old. And yes, even on young and full lips. I understand the desire for a long wearing lippie, I really do. I would just about sell my soul for a lip product that has lasting power without making ones lips look like a piece of dried jerky. Maybe it’s just me.
