Bobbi Brown Nude Drama Eyeshadow Palette Is This Real Life?

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Bobbi Brown Nude Drama Eyeshadow Palette is $59! Is this real life? You can sign me up for one. It’s a rare day in Bobbi Brown-land when she has a palette that contains 12, yes 12 eyeshadow shades for $59! What in the world is going on. Has hell frozen over? Is fire raining down from the skies outside? Are cats living with dogs? Has Cersei taken the Iron Throne for good?

It’s all true though. This all nude, rosy Fall forward selection of shades contain a rather unique line up of colors and hell, I don’t even see too many reruns in here aside from Ivory and Espresso.

Shades include:

  • Ivory
  • Antique Rose
  • Earth
  • Saddle
  • Halo
  • Sunkissed
  • Terracota
  • Black Sand
  • Bonfire
  • Pink Bellini
  • Velvet Plum
  • Espresso

I shall take it thank you very much!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I was giving this some consideration when it popped up on Sephora.com. But I do not like BB eyeshadows; I find them to be sheer with very little pigmentation. I’m wondering if the formula has improved since BB left the company (which would be ironic). I did find a review somewhere on the web yesterday and it was not good. But it sure looks pretty!

Pretty much. This looks great, but almost certain I would be disappointed. I need eye shadow like I need facial hair.

I have never been tempted by a Bobbi Brown palette….until now O_O That is beautiful!!

  • Susan

Pigs must be flying; it’s a Bobbi Brown palette that isn’t all bronze-browns! 😉

  • Kim

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if BB put out a lip pallet to match? I know, I’m getting greedy now

  • LC

I imagine this will be just as chalky and unpigmented as the rest of the Bobbi Brown palettes.

Looks pretty in photos, but I have a feeling that’s where it ends. BB palettes have been huge disappointments over the last couple of years. I’ll stick with Tarte.

I have several Bb eye shadow palettes that I bought each year at Xmas and I would only use those palettes all year long. I haven’t purchased any palettes in two years because the quality in most everything except for the matte lipsticks (which I love, and wish they would make more colors and not take away colors!). The turquoise summer palette that was released this summer was horrible! My Maybelline city mini palettes are way, way better.

aw 🙁 Bobbi has been hit and miss lately, so sad as it’s a brand near and dear to my heart!

These colours look sooo pretty! I’m excited for this palette although I don’t need another one lol x

I find BB palettes chalky and un-pigmented as well! Is it just me or do the colors look suspiously like UD Naked 3…which I’ll stick with. 🙂

I saw it and ordered right away – got it today! It has a beatutiful sparkley pink case
the colors are gorgeous – havnt’ tried them yet
Im a wacky person – its so pretty I don’t want to use it.

I can’t blame you! I feel like that about most of my beauty purchases when they are pretty 😀

I purchased this the Nude Drama palette and I’m sending it back to Sephora today. I’ve never returned anything to Sephora before. The colors are stunning in the case, not so much on the face. It was very hard to build any density and there was a lot of fall out on the shimmery shades. I tried three different primers and none of them helped matters. The formula was just terrible. DO. NOT. PURCHASE. I’m going to back to using all of my VERY reliable Urban Decay palettes.

aw no! that sucks! I purchased but didn’t use it yet. Disappointed! Thanks for the heads up Celestine!

Does Sephora accept returns? I bought this palette this week and tried it once – the colours were so beautiful and I’ve never used BB eye shadow before – I should have checked reviews first. The shadows have no pigmentation – it’s just glitter. I’m so disappointed because the palette and colours look so pretty…

It’s advertised for $32 in a Sephora ad in the Oct 2017 issue of InStyle – page 42. Is this allowed? I’m angry!
