Dior Ruby 5-Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette Has That Perfect Pop of Red!

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

Far be it for me to crave Dior Eyeshadow Palettes but the Dior Ruby 5-Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette has that perfect pop of red. But I digress, many moons ago I really enjoyed Dior Eyeshadow Palettes but the formula is just too frosty and I gave up on them.

But this Ruby Palette?

Swoon!

I need it in my life!

The Dior Ruby 5-Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette ($63) is actually available for a limited time for the Holiday season and includes one of the more unique round of shades I’ve seen for the Holiday season! With soft shades of burgundy combined with browns and creams and that perfect pop of red you should be able to create a truly one-of-kind look with this palette.

Yes, please, get in my cart.

Get it now before it disappears at neimanmarcus.com.

P.S. How’s your October starting off? How did we get here already? Crazy! My schedule is booked solid with things to do. Up first, my second time seeing Sweeney Todd at Barrow Street sans meat pies. I didn’t like the meat pies last time I was there. Yuck! So, this time around just the show, no meat pie thanks very much. If you’ve ever in New York do see it. It’s one of the nicest venues. This is the second time I’m seeing it because it was so delightful the first time around.

Anything special planned for you this season?

Do share!

There’s some irony in the fact I’m talking about Fall in a Holiday makeup post!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Not to be a drag but I have purchased two recent holiday palettes from Dior and returned them both. No pigment, blended away to nothing. I hope this is better.

You are right and this is gorgeous, and you are also right in that Dior shadows leave much to be desired, especially for the price point. I used to buy Dior — my initials are imprinted, afterall — but gave up on them years ago for reasons similar to yours.

I don’t know about you, but I have been spending entirely too much on makeup this past month. It’s like the floodgates opened but I’ve been justifying it by buying stuff I have faith in, and only buying stuff I’m not sure about if it’s on sale and/or I can return it. Does the Dior fit into the latter category for you? We know it doesn’t fit into the former.

I’ve been fairly good. My real problem is Halloween/Fall stuff! I have such issues around this time of the year. Home Goods, At Home, Target, I’ve given my debit card a work out lol! It’s not even makeup related just all things Fall/Halloween. I can probably wait for the Dior ;-D I just see red and I get a little excited, it’s a shade you rarely see in eyeshadow form but since Etude House is launching a hole bunch of reddish/burgundy shades I can do with that and save a ton of $$$ too! as it’s way cheaper! see? I knew you could talk me out of it haha!

No Dior for me this year. I’m waiting on Cle de Peau because the packaging just calls to me!

Sadly, no plans for this fall because I have quite a few weddings to work at this year (I’m an event planning and operations assistant on the side). All my weekends are booked up!

CdP always does some stunning highlighter I feel I need to buy ;-D Oh my gosh, your job is hard! I can imagine the stress! Weddings are tough!

      • Christina

Yeah, when I stop to think about it, I think I’m nuts! Is if my day job isn’t hard enough! LOL! I must be a glutton for punishment. I like it overall, but man, oh man! There can be some difficult brides out there!

I don’t think CdP has a highlighter this year, but the eye and blush compact. Oh my goodness, is it pretty this year! You must check it out!

Unfortunately Dior eyeshadow quints of the last few years have been so disappointing that I suggest you see in person first Muse before you buy….

Will it be released anywhere else like nordstrom or saks? thanks

Neiman Marcus, any fine retailer that has a Dior counter will get it 🙂
