About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I saw this last night, and thankfully, not impressed. After a workout, I want a shower, not a wipe. But, if you’re on the go, I guess this would be fine. I am really liking the new elf products, but to be honest, I think you do get what you pay for. I have found that I toss about half of the elf products I buy. Oh, well. I will keep purchasing just to make sure I don’t miss out. :-/

I hope these are better than the Clinique FIT items I tried; I was so disappointed with that line.

I need someone to make an undereye concealer for working out. I have such deep dark circles under my eyes that make me super self-conscious so I always wear concealer while working out – or hiking, or at the beach….

You ever notice how neon yellow is the designated color of “fitness”? Or some combo of neons? Like Physicians Formula Marathonista has this hot pink/yellow color scheme.

    • Isabella Muse

lol yeah! neon anything really seems to be the color of choice for fitness!

It’s because a lot of workout clothes are high visibility pink or yellow for safety when running at night.

I’m an oily skinned person and living in FL doesn’t help. I tried a ClinqueFit mattifying moisturizer sample and my make up lasted longer than it ever has. I was impressed! I’m tempted to look more into the Clinque and ELF lines now.
