Urban Decay Holiday 2017 arrives with a few gift sets earlier last month but they released more goodies including a Heavy Metal Metallic Eyeshadow Palette and whoa! I need that Heavy Metal Metallic Eyeshadow Palette in my life like yesterday.

That’s definitely the star of this release. All the shades in the palette are new and exclusive but my guess is they might do an entire of metallic single shades come Spring 2018. Because metallics are turning into the new highlighter and contour trend, they simply aren’t going away and seem to be sticking around for a while now.

Here’s the deets!

I about fell over when I saw that Heavy Metal eye palette! No mattes!!! Woohoo! Waiting for Oct 15 to get it free from Ulta with my points. It looks stunning!

Love the eye palette. I think this one looks a lot better than the ABH prism palette plus you get more shades and larger pans. Very tempting.

I don’t generally do metallics but that left side looks awesome. I saw the moon dust had been on sale and was contemplating a purchase to introduce myself to metallics.

So pretty…and it’s an eye shadow palettes…and it’s UD…but I don’t think I would ever use an all metallic palette. Maybe if I see swatches and it’s not too shimmery or glittery, but will probably pass.

What a weird place to stick a mirror on a palette! That seems like it’d be messy to use if the eyeshadows are dusty at all or if any of the pans get loose!
