The Best Makeup and Beauty Gift Sets to Haul During the Sephora Sale

I receive a small commission if you shop through my link.

It can be extremely overwhelming and a little intimidating trying to figure out which are the best makeup and beauty gift sets to haul. The amount of makeup and beauty gifts sets that launch around the holidays has tripled since I started my blog and it can be challenging deciding which to purchase and which to leave behind. Gift sets can be an incredible value but sometimes you can also get burned since the quality on some items isn’t always as good which turns a value into a real waste of money.

Here are several of the very best makeup and beauty gift sets that are worth hauling during the Sephora Sale.

Have a look and find out why I love them! And don’t forget to deduct 20% from the price if you’re a Sephora Rouge Member!

Touch In Sol Metallist Liquid Foil & Glitter Double-Ended Eye Set ($40) literally just popped out on Sephora but I have no doubt it is going to be an excellent offering from this Korean brand. It includes six of their dual-sided Metallist Liquid Foil & Glitter Double-Ended Eyeshadow that has a creamy metallic eyeshadow on one end and a glittery topcoat on the other. The full-sizes are have a liquid metal finish and are super easy to blend. This is a great way to get several shades at a super price!

Bobbi Brown Luxe Classics Mini Lip Set

It’s expensive but if luxury is what you are after the Bobbi Brown Luxe Classics Mini Lipstick Set ($150) gets you there with a selection of 10 (0.07 oz each) Luxe Lip Color Lipsticks in a stunning keepsake case. I own this one and love it! But I do wish I had waited for a sale to grab it!

One of very favorite gift sets from last year was the Clinique Tiny Temptations Set and this year it returns in the form Clinique The Chubbettes Set for $49.50. A lot of people complained last year about the size of these as they are merely 0.03 oz but I loved them! They are perfect for travel and I’m partial to the formula of Clinique’s chubby lip pencils not to mention you get 20 to try in this set. Plus, last year I actually used up several shades which is a rarity for me since I have so many lip products to get through! It remains one of my favorite sets for gifting and getting.

Tarte Mermaid Kisses Lipstick Set

Tarte Mermaid Kisses Lipstick Set ($23) is a very affordable gift set after discount that includes 4 mini shades of Rainforest of the Sea Color Splash Lipstick which has a super creamy, pigmented formula. The best part about the set is the fact that the formula is exactly like the full-size lipsticks which makes this a great way to try it out for yourself before committing to purchasing full-size shades.

Sephora Paint the Town Nude Lip Pencil Set

Chubby lip pencils are a trend you can beat to death with me and I’d never get tired of them! The Sephora Paint the Town Nude Lip Pencil Set ($29) is particularly appealing as it’s a selection of all nude lip pencils! You get 10 (0.05 oz) in total that range in shades from paler beiges to yummy caramels. You’re bound to find a few of your perfect nude shades in this set.

Speaking of nudes Bare Minerals Nudes for Days Gen Nude Lip Wardrobe gets you three mini matte liquid lipstick as well as three of Bare Minerals dreamy, creamy Buttercream Lipglosses in this fabulous set.

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lip Set

Bite Beauty’s Amuse Bouche Liquified Lip Set ($22) is a small sampling of four shades of their newest liquid lipstick formula that has a super creamy, moisturizing formula that feels like a melted down butter lipstick. This set is not only affordable but also gets you a nice round of shades. Don’t miss this one!

Don’t hesitate, do buy the NARS x Man Ray Noire Et Blanche Audacious Lipstick Coffret ($55) this includes four mini Audacious Lipsticks in festive shades of red housed in a keepsake snowglobe-like packaging. The formula has a slick, easy application on lips and the reds are bright, vibrant, and stunning!

Stila Written in the Stars Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow Set

I can’t stress enough how great both the Stila Written in the Stars Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow Set ($25) and Stila Eye For Elegance Liquid Eye Shadow Set ($45) should be top on your list of to buys. Both of these sets get you a round up of the incredible Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadows which are perfect for festive eye looks. And the Eye for Elegance Liquid Eye Shadow Set contains the newest Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadows that aren’t even available yet! Don’t miss these sets! They come with my biggest Muse Approval!

NARS Love Triangle Orgasm

If you’re looking for a cheap, affordable way to experience NARS these new Love Triangle Blush/Lipstick Set ($24) are it! They include a mini blush with a matching lipstick shade for a mere $24, less after you use your discount. The blushes are the perfect size for travel plus you can easily use these up if you already own a slew of blush shades. Definitely one of my fav gift sets this year!

At this point most people already own the Tarte Pro Eyeshadow Palette but you’re one of the few that doesn’t I’d recommend this Tarte Tarteist PRO Vault ($148) that includes it as well as the Pro Contour Palette, Tartetist Lash Paint Mascara, Double Take Eyeliner, Creamy Matte Lip Paint, and a set of false lashes.

Stila Star-Studded Eight Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick Set

You know me, I hate long-wearing liquid lipsticks but I always haul the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lip Set every year as I love this formula. There’s of course a new one this year, the Stila Star-Studded Eight Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick Set ($45) that includes eight deluxe size shades.

Dr

Sheet mask obsessed? Yeah me too! The Dr. Jart Tarot of Masks ($36) gets you a few different masks to choose from!

Worth purchasing every year the LOccitane Advent Calendar ($69) counts the days down until Christmas with wonderful skincare, bath, body, and small makeup goodies. It’s a beautiful gift to give and to get.

bite-beauty-the-perfect-bite-set

Crazy for lipstick? Get the best lipstick set ever! This Bite Beauty The Perfect Bite Amuse Bouche Lipstick Set ($25) won’t disappoint! Four mini shades, a creamy, dreamy texture, and plenty of pigment make this a set that is well worth picking up!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Do you know whether the 20% off is a one time use coupon. I couldn’t find that info. Thanks!

  • Emily

Gift sets, only 2 so far: The Fresh Pretty in Pink Lip Gift and the Cover Fx Custom Enhancer Drops set. I’m sure I’ll be back for more before the weekend is up!

  • Agona

Muse, what’s your favorite non-transfer liquid lipstick? I don’t wear liquid lipstick myself but my SIL’s birthday is coming up and I want to buy her something pricier than the DS ones she buys for herself because I want to treat her.

    • Isabella Muse

I actually mentioned the one I like in this post ;-D The Stila All Day formula is quite lovely! Really nice creamy texture, not hydrating but not bone sucking dry either, and wears nicely! There’s a nice gift set available as well for the Holidays with several shades (also in this post). 😀

      • Agona

I saw that! I wasn’t sure if it was transfer proof or not (SIL doesn’t like leaving lipstick marks on my brother *eye roll* *gag, gag*). 🙂 Thanks!!

        • Isabella Muse

removes easily! but doesn’t transfer once it is set ;-D haha your poor brother! ;-D

          • Agona

It’s gross when they’re lovey dovey in front of me. 🙂 To be fair, my and my BF save the cuteness for in private, LOL.

  • Bonnie

I’ve looked at the Clinique Chubettes at least a dozen times cause I really want it – I have 2 full size and I love them. But everywhere I see folks complaining that the lids refuse to stay on – major problem. True??

    • Isabella Muse

I don’t have this year’s version but last year I didn’t have a problem! That sucks! Maybe check in store before purchasing! 🙁

  • Caroline

Welp. Just placed my second order in a day so I could get the Touch in Sol set. Those eyeshadows are incredible!! Goodbye, money!

      • Emily

Kiko is killing it this season! Just ordered an eyeshadow and a lipstick from their Arctic Holiday collection, and some cute sheet masks too.

        • Agona

I, uhh, bought like most of the Arctic Holiday collection. I love frosted/snow/ice themed collections so I went a little nuts. I hauled one of the powders (I wasn’t sure about the shades but I figured I would only be using a sheer dusting anyway), the powder brush, the 3 baked blushes, both the highlighters, all 4 eyeshadow palettes, 2 metallic lipsticks, all 4 glitter nail polishes, and all 4 single eye shadows — they claimed they were metallic but I haven’t tested them out. I’m hoping they’ll be good lid shades that are complementary with the eye palettes.

    • Isabella Muse

lol because we are conditioned to order all the pretty things online without leaving our desk ;D

  • Rebecca

You keep putting 20 OFF ROUGE in your posts and banner but the code is 20 FOR ROUGE just FYI!!!!!
