Cargo Holiday 2017 has arrived with a new Blockbuster Eyeshadow Palette as well as new lipstick and eyeliner gift sets. With all the hustle and bustle of other Holiday Collections I’m also forgot about Cargo since it isn’t as mainstream as it once was. The most unique aspect of this release is the Blockbuster Palette as contains 44 shades which is probably one of the biggest palettes I’ve seen from Cargo! It sort of reminds me of the old Stila Holiday palettes from back in the day!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Wow! Their prices are at least reasonable! A 44 count palette for $39. I have some of their smaller palettes and I like their quality so this may be a purchase for me.

Check it out first and swatch, if possible. The blockbuster palettes from many mainstream brands, esp holiday, are often PRC. Which can mean iffy, but usually only on the PRC made knockoffs. Google PRC and Kylie knock offs, if you’re not feeling squeamish. Suspect/know most/some of this is at Kohls and online Ulta, if you like s.t. and want the points. The green featured palette has piqued my interest.

I own the Emerald City palette (got it from Ulta with 20% off) and it’s fantastic! Smooth and buttery shadows that have excellent pigment, and it’s a gorgeous and versatile combo of colors. I’ve done some really beautiful looks with it already. Can’t beat it for that price!

Hey muse! I don’t know if I can mention this but yesterday I went to Marshall’s for Christmas decorations, and guess what I found?!?, the emerald city palette and another one called the getaway for 12.99. I was looking for your review on them but I didn’t find it. I did get them though!!

This is the exact same layout as the Sephora Collection More Than Meets The Eye palette from holiday 2016. I think that one included 32 shadows. It was, at best, “meh” so I no longer have it. As far as Cargo, I’ve sworn off them since every single palette I tried of theirs had a strong, chemical odor which I’ve only experienced with cosmetics made in China (as Cargo is).

Heads up if you are dying for this pallet and you can resist hold off until Black Friday it’s will on sale I think half off check Kohl’s add o just saw it

I need that lipstick set! I got a set of the gel lipstick in a previous holiday set and really like the texture. Not too slick, not too dry.
