The new It Cosmetics It’s Your Top 5 Superstars Skin Perfecting Set is the QVC November Today’s Special Value and is pre-booking today on qvc.com and will debut on QVC this Saturday. The set contains 6 full-size It Cosmetics products for $59 Free Shipping.

Let’s take a look!

I imagine by now most It Girls and Guys have much of what is in this kit but if you need to replenish your stock now would be a good time to do so as you’re paying $10 bucks per a product in this set. I think it would make a lovely gift for a mother or aunt as well as it’s a perfect introduction kit to the brand.

Here’s what you get:

I’ve reviewed a lot of these products in the past and I’ve included links to each review so you can get see more swatches and my thoughts in detail on each of the items. There’s only one new item in this set and that’s the Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Foundation Globe Brush which has a rounded head and fuller bristles to give you that airbrushed finished when using with the CC+ Cream. The handle is one of the things that makes it most unique as it has a clear rainbow colored handle unlike anything I’ve seen from It Cosmetics in the past.

Whether you’re gifting or getting the It Cosmetics It’s Your Top 5 Superstars Skin Perfecting Set for yourself this is a really great deal.

Get it now at qvc.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I just ordered this set, mostly for the brush. I’m not a huge fan of it cosmetics, but their brushes are some of the best I have ever used. I also ordered the Mally Frozen Elsa gift set. Yup, 40 years old and bought Frozen cosmetics. I’m going to Disney World for a week in December and I thought I might as well geek it up all the way!! :-). Got to get the kid in me out, before the kid in me comes out. I’m preggers. Lol.

oh hell enjoy it Jennifer ;-D Never too old for Disney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;-D best part? You get to experience Disney through your baby’s eyes ;-D that’s even more fun!

      • Jennifer

Aww thank you. Very sweet. Now I’m all teary eyed. Freakin hormones. Disney will be so much fun. I will be able to get on most of the rides. No Tower of Terror or Space Mountain. But I’m good with pretty much everything else. It’s a Small World will be a life saver when I need to get off my feet. No one ever says that about that attraction. Ha

Nice to see it’s the regular and illumination CC cream this time around. I was at Ulta one day and while talking to the woman said something about using the CC cream & she said ‘not the illumination I hope’ I thought it was funny because during the presentations they always talk about how awesome it is, but in reality for certain ages, it’s a total no-go 🙂

    • Isabella Muse

I actually liked the cc illumination the first go around and even felt like it was identical to the regular but after using it for a while I realized it ran so much more yellow than the normal shades! :-/

Good morning, Isabella. I am tempted to buy this set just for the brush, as I already have spares of everything else but the lip balm. I have not tried that yet and have seen mixed reviews.

QUESTION: how does this brush compare in shape, size and density to the ones released in the May 2017 TSV? I found that to be too big for anything other than powder application, and it picked up so much product that I didn’t really like it for powder application either. The shape of the new release looks more foundation friendly, but it looks pretty massive in size. If you have tried it, how well does it apply foundation or cc cream? Can you get around the nose and hairline with that thing? Thanks!

    • Isabella Muse

Morning! Lip balm is crap! Read my review 🙂 I hate it. haha! The may 2017 was much larger. This is a little softer and not as dense. It is a dome head but the bristles are a little shorter in style compared the May’s TSV. I always find brushes difficult to apply foundation as I favor my fingers when applying it. I tried it with the cc cream and it worked well enough but the head is still a little too larger to fit into the contour of your nose and hairline. The larger head means you have a little less control around these areas but it is much better compared to May’s in terms of shape/size. Hope this helps!?

      • Cheryl

That was very helpful! Thank you! I’m still on the fence, but I do remember that you hated the lip balm. I wear the cc cream regularly, but really don’t need anymore. I also like the brow pencil and the mascara. I will have to give it some thought. It will probably be a pass, but at least it’s an informed pass, with your help. Thank you again.

        • Isabella Muse

Honestly, don’t do it. You already have a lot of stuff in here and come May (which believe it or not is really a short time away) they’ll likely have another set and who knows it might be with new seasonal items! As good a deal it is, it doesn’t make sense to stockpile stuff you already have. It’s the Holidays, you’ll be spending a lot more money shortly on not only gifts for family but gifts for yourself I bet. Just wait this one out 🙂 you might find a better deal. Also, it cosmetics FF (25% off) starts soon on their website. So, if you really just need some CC Cream you can get it at that point.

The 3 products from this kit that catch my eye are the brush (It cosmetics has excellent brushes), the brow power (one of my favorite brow pencils) and the mascara. I am one of the few that doesn’t see the big deal of the cc cream. I have combo skin and it is just too heavy, dewy and never sets. When they had limited colors the medium was too light and the tan was way too dark. Though, I am willing to give it another try. Now that it is winter here in mn I went to ulta and swatched the medium tan. At 10 bucks a pop I can just gift the cc to one of my sisters if it still doesn’t work.
