Two Great Drunk Elephant Skincare Kits to Haul

Drunk Elephant Volume 1 Hot Date and Drunk Elephant Volume 2 Come C About Me are two great skincare kits you might want to haul during the Sephora 20% Holiday Sale as combining that discount along with the already low cost of each set makes these both a killer deal.

Many of you keep raving me Drunk Elephant but a lot of the things I’ve tried from the brand really haven’t worked for me but I decided I wanted to give them a re-try so I decided to haul these two kits since two of the items I wanted to try are in each kit PLUS I get a lot of little extras versus buying the items I want at full price.

Here’s the break down and how you can score a deal!

The first set I hauled was the Drunk Elephant Volume 1 Hot Date Set which is $98 but after 20% Off I got it for $78. I wanted to original purchase the T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum which sold individually is $90 for 1 oz. For an extra eight bucks I could haul this set and it would also get me a 1 oz size of the Beste Jelly Cleanser that I haven’t yet tried as well as Lala Retro Whipped Cream (0.5 oz) and Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil (0.27 oz). So, really at $98 it’s already a good deal because the 1 oz of the night serum is $90 anyway and for a few bucks more I get some nice extras. But deduct the 20% and it becomes an even better deal.

The second set I hauled was the Drunk Elephant Volume 2 Come C About Me because I wanted to try C-Firma Day Serum. C-Firma Day Serum is $80 for 1 oz alone so for $88 (after 20% off I paid $70.40) I got a few nice extras. First off another 1 oz Beste Jelly Cleanser which I hope I love since I have two now! This also includes a deluxe-size sample of Umbra Sheer Physical Daily Dense SPF 30 (0.5 oz) and one of my least favorite products from the Drunk Elephant line, B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Gel (0.5 oz). I still felt like I was ahead of the game purchasing the set even if I don’t like B-Hydra (I gifted it off to a friend which worked out great).

So, if you’re shopping Drunk Elephant at the moment and having a hard time deciding what you mean and being slightly intimidated by the higher price tags these two sets should be a little lighter on your wallet.

Let’s hope this time around my skin likes these!

I purchased the date night set. I have been wanting to try DE out I hope it works out for my skin. I was looking at the other set with the full size Lala, Marula & the b hydra not sure since they had meh reviews separately. I am curious about the C set but heard the vitamin c doesn’t last long goes bad quickly. I take forever to use things up unfortunately.

Whew! So I’m not then only one one. DE and Sunday Riley have been total failures for me. I started with the sunscreen- I was so excited, it seemed to check all my boxes! The Umbra may be the worst I have ever tried. It peeled, flaked, pilled and refused to sink into my skin. It destroyed my foundation completely. I’ve tried the Babyface mask a few times and…nothing. Such a low down shame.

oh no! that’s bad! I have to admit I really like babyface! That one worked for me! But aside from that haven’t been terribly impressed with the line!

The Framboos was too drying/harsh for my dry, semi-sensitive skin to use on a regular basis, but I’m actually loving the C-Firma bc it hydrated fairly well for me. Hope some of these items work for you!

so far so good! Not too harsh for me! A little tingle but nothing I couldn’t deal with! Firma was a little slick for me in the AM so I’m trying to get used to that! I’m also a little tentative about using vit c in the AM for some reason! thanks dot 😀
