I think we’re finally out of the water when it comes to sales. Yes, today is boxing day! Yes, there are lots of sales going on but guess what? I’m sort of over it and I hope by tomorrow that the deals will be done and I can get down to posting about brand new, fabulous makeup.

Speaking of brand new makeup Tarte has been busy releasing new items for Spring 2018 without many of us even realizing it. Stealthy guys, very stealthy but not stealthy enough as I noticed all the delicious newness!

Here’s some items I want to check out!

The Tarte Shape Your Money Maker Eye & Cheek Palette ($32) is a new little eye and face palette offering that contains six different eyeshadows, one highlighter, and a contouring shades.

Shades:

  • Cut (glittery champagne)
  • Snatched (copper luster)
  • Tone Up (cool bronze luster)
  • Trainer (beige matte)
  • Cardio (chestnut matte)
  • Reps (warm brown matte)
  • Flex (rose gold highlight)
  • Slim (contour)

We probably don’t need yet another nude, natural palette but I always find these smaller ones terribly tempting! I really enjoyed the Tarte Flirt Palette so, I’m not going to completely write this one off!

I already ordered the Tarte Busy Girl Beauty Intro Set ($29) last week and discussed how it could potentially be a preview of a new Double Duty Blush formula that will be launching at Ulta. We don’t know if that’s true or not but one can hope since a lot of the Double Duty items have been going on sale so, it would come as no surprise that they release new items come Spring 2018. This set includes quite a few goodies at a nice price point! You get:

  • Deluxe The Lip Sculptor Lipstick & Lip Gloss in Lively
  • Double Duty Beauty Blush in Moment
  • Travel Size Sweet Tarte Fragrance
  • Deluxe Maneater Voluptuous Mascara
  • Shape Tape Contour Concealer Sample
  • Makeup Bag

Tarte Top #Shelfie Essentials ($36) is a great pick up if you’ve been wanting to try their latest face mask, Tight & Bright Clay Multi-Mask, as this set includes a rather generously-sized tub of it at 0.52 oz. It also includes deluxe sizes of:

  • Drink of H2O Hydrating Boost Moisturizer Rainforest of the Sea (0.5 oz)
  • 4-in-1 Setting Mist Rainforest of the Sea Collection (1.014 oz)
  • Maracuja C-Brighter Eye Treatment (0.08 oz)

The new Tarte Chrome Paint Shadow Pots ($22) look mighty tempting and if they perform half as well as the ones in the Tarte Foil Finger Paints Shadow Palette and are just creamy I’ll be a happy girl. These are a loose pigment eyeshadow with an intense color pay off.

I discussed the Tarte Knockout Tingling Treatment ($39) in an earlier post I did and I find this formula quite intriguing as it works to smooth skin with lactic acids and also a 10% salicylic as well as niacinamide, and glycerin to gently exfoliate and hydrate skin overnight.

Tarte Lip Bling Highlighting Lip Paint ($20) is a limited-edition metallic gloss the brand recently introduced in two shade selections. Each shade contains light reflecting pigments which can be worn on bare lips or over your favorite lipstick to add a metallic, glossy finish.

Tarte Dive into Rainforest of the Sea Intro Set ($39) doesn’t have new contents by any means but it is a new gift set and especially a nice little deal if you don’t already own the Rainforest of the Sea Eyeshadow Palette Vol. II. Along with the palette it contains deluxe sizes of Rainforest of the Sea So Fine Micro Liner, Rainforest of the Sea Quench Lip Rescue in Nude, and a blister pack of Rainforest of the Sea Aquacealer shades.

The latest Tarte Spring 2018 offerings are available now at ulta.com and sephora.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I am eagerly waiting for the re-release of the Maneater palette!!! I’ve seen a few youtubers get it on PR and saying it hasn’t been released yet, but I haven’t found the release date anywhere!”♀️
