Bare Minerals barePRO 16-HR Full Coverage Concealer ($24) is the brand’s latest concealer stick that promises 16 hours of full coverage with a creamy formula enriched with a host of oils such as raspberry and blackcurrant.

As you know I’m a fan of Bare Minerals Bare Skin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer which has a lightly creamy texture that glides under my drier eyes easily and blends out flawlessly. If barePRO 16-HR Full Coverage Concealer is as hydrating and as easy to apply I’ll be in my absolute glory.

I do approach all concealers very cautiously lately as many promise the world but few deliver.

Bare Minerals has a 50/50 chance of creating something awesome with this formula as they have failed at concealer in the past so, I do have some wariness heading into this purchase. I’m also not a huge lover of stick concealer as it reminds me of the way our grandmother’s likely applied concealer. Stick concealers come across very primitive to me.

None the less I’m still curious. I’m not sure about the 16 hours of wear as I find most formulas do not last that long but we’ll see how that goes. Apparently it contains a Mineral Lock Long Wear Technology to keep it wearing that long. There’s a lot of things going on with this formula aside from long-wearing as it also promises a creamy, waterproof texture that provides fill coverage.

Bare Minerals barePRO 16-HR Full Coverage Concealer is available now at ulta.com.

I really wish this wasn’t a stick concelear and it’s likely a pass for me because of that. They sorely need to expand the color range in the serum concealer. I love the formula but the light is a little too dark and the fair is way too peach for my complexion. You can do better BM…

omg someone that agrees 🙂 I hate sticks! Agreed! I’m between the light and the medium shade. Light is too light, medium is too dark. Def need a expansion on the shades!

This looks interesting but might have to be applied in a dab instead of a sweep, & then blended with a finger. I do like the wide range of shades available. I wonder if it is tacky instead of light creamy. I do prefer liquid concealers as I have more control over how much to apply.

I hope this and the blushes isn’t the extent of their spring releases. Their spring releases usually focus on base and face (followed by bronzing in the summer) but usually there’s a small palette with little fanfare in the spring releases.
