Benefit Blush Bar Cheek Palette Featuring Gold Rush

The new, limited edition Benefit Blush Bar Cheek Palette ($58) launched today it it features the new Gold Rush Box o’ Powder that will launch in the next few weeks. Gold Rush is a warm golden-nectar blush shade which to me looks a lot more of a highlighter than a blush but I’m quite curious to try it out as I’m a lover of the Benefit Box o’ Powders! They always do a very good job with these powders in my opinion especially the just released GALifornia which is also included in this new Blush Bar Cheek Palette.

Includes:

  • 3 Blush in GALifornia, Gold Rush, and Rockateur (0.17 oz each)
  • Dandelion Brightening Baby-Pink Blush (0.25 oz)
  • Hoola Matte Bronzer (0.28 oz)

I’m terribly tempted to haul this not only because it is a ridiculously great value but also, because I want to get my hands on the early launch of Gold Rush. I do have to listen to my logical side though since I have a majority of these powders already. My illogical side is saying how quickly I use up Dandelion anyway and how much I love GALifornia so a backup wouldn’t be completely crazy. See? I’m convincing myself into yes buy it mode already!

If you don’t own any of these I’d highly suggest grabbing it. It’s a great assortment of shades.

Benefit Blush Bar Cheek Palette is available now at sephora.com and ulta.com.

I’ve read quite a few reviews that state the quality of the product in the Benefit blush palettes isn’t as good as the individual powder boxes. Have you ever noticed this? I too have most of the individual shades that have been in all the cheek palettes.. I still want to buy this- I’m a sucker for value.

I have Cheek Parade, don’t quote I think that’s the one I have lol! Too much makeup. And I liked it. But I would totally believe it if someone said as such because sometimes they seem to decrease the quality of makeup in some of these larger palettes. Not just Benefit but a lot of brands seem to do this! :-/ But the value is so good plus Gold Rush is tempting for me!

I’m still salty I didn’t grab the Cheekathon palette. I really want Dallas! I think my ideal Benefit palette would have: Coralista, Dallas, Hoola, Dandelion, & Dandelion Twinkle. I mean if we’re really being wishful I’d wish they’d leave out the brush and put another powder in! Rockateur maybe 😉

    • Isabella Muse

yes to another brush ;-D and yes to Coralista and Bella Bamba please 😀

I have and love the Cheekathon palette, which is just an older version with some different shades. I love, love, love it. I use it daily (and have for over a year) and I haven’t hit pan on any of them yet. I can’t imagine I’ll ever use it all up! I’m tempted by Gold Rush and Galifornia, but I so don’t need them. I’ve been more responsible lately.

    • Isabella Muse

haha I love you for that! being responsible that is 🙂

I don’t own any Benefit blush or complexion palettes but that won’t be for long!! I love blushes with shimmer so this is right up my alley! I even tagged my boyfriend in benefit’s ig post so he knows this is on the horizon. This one really sucked me in!

I’m glad to see someone who doesn’t have these shades ;-D Let me know if you get it and how it is. I resisted but it was hard!
