It Cosmetics Confidence in a Compact & Airbrush Smoothing Foundation Brush #102 50% at Ulta Today

I was compensated by a brand or company but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Heads up It Girls and Guys the It Brushes for Ulta Airbrush Smoothing Foundation Brush #102 is $11 bucks today and the It Cosmetics Confidence in a Compact is $19 both ship free as well if you’re a Platinum or Diamond Member as part of today’s Ulta 21 Days of Beauty one day deal! The brush is a killer deal considering the fact that It Cosmetics make some fine brushes with super soft brushes so, at $11 bucks this is a steal. It’s a smaller paddle brush with fluffier brushes which can be used with liquid foundation, cream foundation, or BB or CC Cream. The smaller head ensures you can get around the contours of your face easily without creating a streaky finish and the fluffy bristles allow you to get that airbrushed finish.

I’m actually a huge fan of CC+ Veil Beauty Fluid Foundation and wish that would go on sale one day soon. Confidence in a Compact launches last January and quickly gathered up a cult following. This is a creamy balm with a sheerer finish in my opinion that gives skin a natural finish. I like subtle coverage so, I’m pretty much all about any product that gives it to me but I do dislike the heavy feel of cream compacts. It’s odd because most will recommend a cream compact for anyone with drier skin but I tend to avoid them as they remind me of grease paint. Confidence in a Compact is actually quite light and think compared and doesn’t have the thick, emollient texture of a cream compact which makes it a fairly pleasantly formulated foundation. I find the texture tends to sit on top of my skin though and looks a bit patchy when my skin is extra dry. I think if you have oily skin or normal skin it’ll work better. Needless to say at 50% off it’s worth a try to see if it’ll work out for you versus paying full-price at $38!

I was so disapointed in the Confidence in a Compact-. It was thick and greasy and smelled just like Pine Sol cleaner. Couldn’t give it to me.- was just awful!! I do love the IT Brushes though.

I didn’t like it either but didn’t get the greasy, thickness! Mine was very light and thin. The scent is very strong!

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Stop tempting me!! I’m on a no-buy! I went over a whole year (14 months, actually) without a single makeup purchase. I bought an item I’d had my eye on, and I’m going on another no-buy because I have plenty of makeup and I have no justification in getting more; but I’m sorely tempted!

Oh yeah I hauled the compact. I’ve been using this since I picked it up about a month or two ago when Ulta had it on sale for some reason. I really like it. Matches my skin exactly. And I like the texture and the look of it. So for $19 I was quite excited.
