Shimmery Taupe Eye Anyone?

Bobbi Brown Long-wear Sparkle Stick Eyeshadow ($31) arrives just in time for Spring 2018 in eight limited edition shades that bring a pop of sparkle to lids. As a fond fan of of Bobbi Brown’s original Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick (buy the shade Sand Dune, thank me later! It’s such a great natural shade for a nude eye look) I feel quite confident saying I’m likely going to love the Long-Wear Sparkle Stick Eyeshadows.

I mean really, who doesn’t love a good sparkly eye? I have this hidden hope that I’ll find the perfect taupe in this collection something along the lines of Stila Smoldering Satin Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow! Looks like the shade Moonstone or Galactic might fit the bill!

These aren’t actually shimmer or glitter but a pearl-infused formula that gives a glistening eye look! Mmm ok! I can dig that.

    Love it! What do you recommend for a good shimmery taupe that is perhaps a little more budget friendly than this or the Stila one you mention. I, too, am on a quest to find that perfect, every day taupe.

    Sometimes I loooove taupe. And other times, it pulls too weird on me. I don’t know!

      omg me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have this odd love hate relationship with it. Sometimes it looks incredible and it’s such a wearable smoky look. Other times it makes me look like I was punched or I didn’t get enough sleep!

    Hey Muse, just to mention, they have come out on the Bobbi Brown site. And right now they are dong the their next purchase discount coupons ($15 if you buy $75, $25 if you buy $100, and $40 if you buy $150). I just grabbed 5 of the shades myself and it is offering the Q (at least it says so on the order). 🙂

      By the way just question (sorry off topic), but did you happen to see the $35 Bobbi Brown Cools Eye Shadow Palette, Created for Macy’s? Do you know anyone who may have reviewed it? Was wondering if it was just “Meh” because it supposed to be a $121 palette selling for $35. Sometimes you get what you pay for, LOL.

    I just love UD’s eye pencil in Mushroom – one of the best taupe shades around.
    BB’s products are expensive and their quality has been all over the place in the past few years, so reviews are essential.

    I work at a Bobbi counter, and these are really nice! They feel a little slicker than the original shadow sticks but they dry down and don’t move just like the originals. Gilded is a taupe, but Moonstone is actually a dark, blue-based silver.

    Bought Gilded yesterday and it’s gorgeous. Feels slightly wet when going on which I was surprised about, but then it drys and the colour stays. Very easy to remove as well. Will be buying more.
