If nude shades of rose are your thing you might just love BH Cosmetics Rosey Raye Lipgloss! BH Cosmetics Rosey Raye Lipgloss was launched a few weeks ago and created in collaboration with youTuber, ItsMyRayeRaye, in a variety of formulas including lipstick and liquid lipstick.

I’m quite a lover of dusky rose shades on my lips so when saw promo images of the shade I knew I had to check it out for myself.

BH Cosmetics Rosey Raye Lipgloss is $8.99 which is a little bit more expensive compared to the typical $4-$6 range of lipgloss releases from the brand. Sadly, I’m unsure the actual size of this as it isn’t listed anywhere on the packaging. I have to admit this had me feeling a little frugal since I felt $9 was a bit high but the shade is delightful which may push you into the buying zone.

I’ve heard this called a mauve rose which I disagree with and I’ve also heard it called a rosy nude which I do agree with slightly. To me it’s a lighter dusky rose. It’s quite a lovely shade that has a nice warmth to it. The color is really the focus of the product for me.

The texture reminds me more of a liquid lipstick with a lightly creamy consistency that applied easily and didn’t sink into my natural lip lines. It looked smooth and flawless with excellent pigmentation on a single application. It does start out with some shine but as it sets it has a semi-matte satiny finish that didn’t feel drying at all nor sticky or tacky. The color does wipe off easily and will transfer but doesn’t migrate nor feather through the three hour wear I got from it. It does have a strong vanilla fragrance and flavor.

All in all, quite a lovely shade and a nice formula but I do wish it was a smidge cheaper!

I also own the lipstick and will be able to wear it in the summer. Right now it’s a little too dark for my skintone. It’s so pretty and smells delicious (vanilla is my signature fragrance)! Now, after seeing how pretty this looks on you Muse, I will probably spring for this. Is the shade about the same as the lipstick?

Thanks Dee! It is but I thought the lipstick was a little darker/intense! This seemed a smidge lighter! But if you wanted to layer them they would look lovely!

I almost bought this last week, but I’m glad I waited because my 20% code arrived in yesterday’s mail! Now I might have to get the lipstick too. We have the same coloring so whatever looks good on you is a sure bet for me. : )
