MAC x Patrickstarrr I’m Not Blush Powder Blush Duo arrives in the Me So Chic Floral Realness Full Face Kit which was created in collaboration with youTuber Patrickstarrr. You might recall I reviewed the Mamastarrr Lipstick shade last week that also comes in this set. I wish both of these items were available individually but none the less having them in the set actually works out to a great deal as the set is a mere $48 and includes four full-size MAC products that are worth $95. Plus both sets are now available on Ulta.com which means you can snag them at 20% off if you’re a Platinum or Diamond Rewards Member.

On that note let’s get into this review.

MAC x Patrickstarrr I’m Not Blush Powder Blush arrives in a delightful pale pink compact with a floral design decorating the cover. The packaging is pretty, Spring-like, and should prove very appealing to packaging h0rs like me!

There are too few warmer peach blush shades in my collection. I mean I have a lot of peach blush. A LOT! But nothing as warm as the I’m Blushing Powder Blush Duo. The pan is split down the middle with a satin peach blush shade called Pure Peach on one side and a matte bronzer on the other called Capri Bronze on the other. I’m not really a bronzer lover but I ended up just swirling the two shades together and I ended up with a pretty peach bronze shade on my cheeks. Works for me! The peach blush is already warm but adding in the bronzer gives it even more warmth which I thought produced a nice “sat in the sun” too long look for me.

The textures of both the powder and blush are very soft, silky, and easy to blend. The matte bronzer will prove a very nice contouring shade should you like to use for that purpose. I got a great wear from both the colors and thought the entire presentation, formula, and wear was very good.

I admit sometimes MAC has been hit or miss lately with limited edition releases but so far everything from Patrick’s collection is proving delightful!

MAC x Patrickstarrr I’m Not Blush Powder Blush available in the Floral Realness Full Face Kit is available now at ulta.com and maccosmetics.com.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. OMG! I can’t wait to receive this next week! It looks beautiful on you! These are your colors Muse! Are you also wearing the lipstick from this set? (I’m wondering, what are your thoughts of using the blush duo as eyeshadow? I may try that to see if it will look ok, or if it’ll look like a serious case of pinkeye.) ;-P

Let me know how it goes for you Dee! I really liked the blush duo and lipstick so far ;-D I didn’t try it as an eyeshadow but wow good idea! That might work! The brown and the peach might look great on eyes ;-D No, that’s one of the Milani lip colors not the lipstick from the set ;-D
