Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit Is Back and Worth a Purchase

The Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit is back! And so worth a purchase. I actually don’t really love sample sizes. I tend to lose them or forget about them. When I’m offered samples for free or I get them with my purchase I tend to toss them in a big basket, let them accumulate, and donate them to Midnight Run. I just never use them and find them a little wasteful.

However, I actually really adore the idea of Sephora’s Sun Safety Kit because if anything at all the thing I am most picky about in the beauty world is sunscreen. As you may know I’m a lover and fan of Japanese sunscreens but I’m still trying to search out that one perfect holy grail sunscreen that I can buy locally versus in bulk from Japan.

I adore the idea of this kit because it gives you one full size item, one travel size, and 14 deluxe samples that really help narrow down sunscreen formulas and textures to see which might work for you!

This year’s set is $36 and it comes with a full-size Supergoop! Super Power Sunscreen Mousse SPF 50, a deluxe Lancome Bienfait UV SPF 50+ Super Fluid Facial Sunscreen, and a pouch that contains 14 other deluxe samples which range is size from 1.01 oz to 0.07 oz.

    NICE! I love the sun safety kits…. I hope this one stays in stock for the VIB promo in a couple of weeks…. I think I’ll add it to my basket and hope it stays in stock! I haven’t found much else that I want from the sephora sale, so *must* start looking!! (cos…. a sale… you know…) 🙂

      It always sells out so damn fast so I decided I’d just buy it and be done with it. Too much! lol! I actually thought I didn’t want anything and here I am one million dollars later!

    Ummm….. not much of anything right now… Actually, I don’t have a *thing* on my list right now!! But Imma remedy that… Will jump online and start looking! (how pathetic is that – I have to *find* something to buy because there’s a sale!! – so dumb. But fun!!) 🙂 I think I’ll take your advice and jump on this kit right now Muse…. It does always seem to sell out fast, and that bag is adorbs!!

    I don’t wait for the sale on this one because I know it sells out fast. This is my first Sephora purchase of 2018! LOL! So worth it because in the description on the website it says that the Lancôme size included is 1.7 oz and the 1.7 oz on its own is $40!

    I’m not going to be buying it this year, because I still have a ton left over from past years, subscription boxes, etc., BUT, I am SO GLAD that they moved back to an early April release date! It always used to come out then, but for the last few years it seems to have come out later and later into May/June, and by then most of us have already needed sunscreen for several weeks.

    This is my absolute favorite kit from Sephora and I hope it’s still in stock when I go after posting this. I love this one!

    Plus, don’t forget, the kit is $36 but:
    “Sephora donates $25 from the sale of each kit to skin cancer research and education. $20 will go to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (https://www.mskcc.org) to help fund a cure. MSK sets the gold standard in research and care. $5 will go to The Skin Cancer Foundation (www.skincancer.org) (up to $200,000), the leading organization for public and professional education of skin cancer prevention, detection, and treatment.” (from Sephora’s website).
    This is the first year I can remember that they’re giving to MSK; in the past I think it all went to the Skin Cancer Foundation. I like supporting MSK in any way shape or form. Just ordered my kit. I like or want to try many of this year’s offerings, and love the bag itself!

    Yay! I ordered it as soon as I got the email from Sephora. It arrived yesterday morning but I haven’t opened it yet. Delayed gratification is my thing.
    I use sunscreen on my face every single day. The one I’m currently using – and liking – is Neogen Dermalogy Day-Light Protection SPF 50.

      yay! ;-D glad you got it! Enjoy it when you do open it! I’ve been using Missha’s Sun Milk SPF 50 this winter. nice and lightweight but def looking for something else for Summer coverage!

    Jumped on this Wednesday and received it today (Friday). Absolutely worth it if only for the Lancome, Super Goop and the large and adorable makeup bag. I throw the samples in my various bags and totes so I always have sunscreen at hand.
