Stila Enchantress Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow ($24) is one of three duochrome metallic shades that launched back in December which I quickly picked up since the peach with gold pearl sounded terribly appealing to my ears. You know how into golden peaches I’m into! I absolutely had to have this based on that alone.

Of course, that was only one of the reasons. The other being how in love I am with the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow formula. It really is one of my favorite sparkly eyeshadows on the market at the moment. I aim to collect all the shades at some point.

Stila Enchantress Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow is described as a peach with duochrome bright gold pearl but it actually applies as a baby pink on my eyes with a pretty twinkling gold shift. Within the tube and swatches it almost has a peachy rose gold element but once applied it is pretty much all pink to me and I’m perfectly fine by that as the golden pink color looks quite pretty on my eyes.

Since the launch of these shades Stila has definitely promoted them heavily which in certain cases can be incredibly annoying but I must admit I just love the formula so much I don’t mind. Although sparkly it isn’t frosty and every shade I’ve tried always creates an eye catching look that’s easy to apply when it looks like I spent hours creating it.

The texture is a mix of chunkier pearls and glitter particles suspended in a thicker, creamier gel base that’s quite lightweight and blends easily without fall out during application and throughout the wear. They don’t feel sticky nor tacky and wear long and strong on my drier eyes without creasing. They are laced with heavy glitter which means they aren’t entire work safe and you might wish to reserve them for an evening out or just evening wear.

I’ve always found the application easy with a quick swipe of the sponge application on my eyes and blending out with my fingers. The color can be built to a great intensity with certain shades and Enchantress is one such shade as it isn’t just glitter but also has a nice tinge of color. I’ve run across shades like Wanderlust for example that barely have any color but Enchantress faces no such issues and does provide a nice golden pink shade on my eyes.

Stila Enchantress Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow gets a Muse Approval. It’s a delightful shade that looks great alone or paired up with cranberries, dusky pinks, or baby pink eyeshadows.

Love it!
