I can’t start a review of Clean Skin Eau de Parfum without reliving my geeky childhood. Remember Stand by Me? My friend Christina and I were obsessed with that movie so much so we greeted each other with the very corny, “Gimme some skin” quote handshake unquote.
Let’s not forget that my crush at the time was Casey Siemaszko, dood, what the hell even happened to him? Can we haz a Casey Siemaszko where is he now VH1 Special?
According to his IMDb he’s been quite busy…ha who knew?
Speaking of skin…
Clean Skin Eau de Parfum is the newest fragrance added to the Clean family.
Let’s take a look!
Benefit Cosmetics moved me into Crescent Row recently. They realized how important a part I had to play in the Crescent Row Fragrance Collection thus naming their newest fragrance after, you guessed it, yours truly.
I wish that was the case but hey, the good news is at least I share the name of the newest Crescent Row girl, Bella!
Ring my Bella is a fruity, floral, sweet seductive fragrance that’s sure to please the sweetie floral types out there.
Let’s take a peek!
When it comes to fragrances my tastes run a little immature. I like sweet, playful, but never sophisticated.
My inner kid demands a break and that’s when my more mature fragrances from Annick Goutal, Thierry Mugler, etc…come out to play!
My current big girl fragrance of choice? The debut fragrance from Elie Saab.
Marc Jacobs Oh, Lola! is the revamp and youthful version of the popular Lola fragrance.
With Dakota Fanning striking a pose in the promo this latest fragrance is a playful scent should appeal to both the younger and older crowd of fruity, floral perfumes.
Marc Jacob explains, “We recolored the bottle and changed the juice, this Lola is more of a Lolita than a Lola, but we weren’t going to call the fragrance Lolita. Lola is more seductive; Oh, Lola is sensual, but she’s sweeter.”
No matter my age, I’ve always enjoyed a more youthful fragrance and as much as i love the original Lola I was all about trying something new…something playful, sweet, cheerful..!
Here’s my thoughts on Oh, Lola!
