Benefit Bathina Soft to the Touch Hard to Get Body Oil Mist makes an appearance this Summer for soft, silky skin. Don’t get me wrong I love me some Benefit Crescent Row Fragrances but I have a super soft spot in my heart for Bathina.
Bathina was probably one of my first experiences with Benefit! I was drawn in by her retro vintage pin up girl look! As a fan of Bettie Page and Dita Von Teese it’s easy enough to fall in love with Bathina isn’t it?
Bathina returns this year in the form of a new body oil mist! If you love Benefit Maybe Baby (I miss B Spot bring it back, bring it back!) I think you’ll adore this new mist.
Flash! Ahhhhh! He’s a miracle. Of course, I can’t start my review of Jimmy Choo Flash Eau de Parfum without referencing the cult classic 1980 Flash Gordon movie starring Sam J. Jones, the incredible legendary Timothy Dalton, and the stunning Ornella Muti. How they got all these people including the most awesome glam band every doing the soundtrack, Queen, does boggle my little brain.
As a geek I have watched and rewatched the Flash Gordon movie about 500 times in my lifetime. I can play all the parts especially Dr. Zarkov’s for some reason and Ming’s Floating Servant.
Anyway, Jimmy Choo Flash Eau de Parfum leaves all the cheese behind and is ALL elegance, no corny filler here a la Flash Gordon the movie.

Marc Jacobs introduces his new Honey Eau de Parfum for Fall 2013. If you loved the whimsical ladybug good nature of Marc Jacobs Dot, you’ll absolutely adore Honey which features a bottle that looks like a little bee!
Buzz buzz bitches!
But don’t be fooled where as Dot features sweeter more delicate floral notes, Honey is actually more pop, fun, and flirtatiousness!
I admit I find it odd shopping deodorants and coming across body sprays and mists on the same shelf. Isn’t it weird shopping for your deo and proceeding to have them trying to sell you a matching body mist? I mean do you think they are trying to say we smell or something that we need not only a deodorant but also a body mist so we can layer and do away with our own rancid stench.
I feel slightly insulted, a little confused, and partially delighted as a beauty junkie.
I know Dove has done body mists and so has Secret but most recently Secret Scent Expressions Body Spray hits your deodorant shelves for Summer 2013.
