Bath & Body
Asian culture is very near and dear to my heart.
When the quake and tsunami hit Japan I felt so incredibly worried since I consider the friends I have there extended family. I was grief stricken and heartbroken when images started appearing on the news and Internet.
I’ve since donated funds to Japan but I wish I could more do so much more.
In my heart, I know that the people of Japan display true gaman in situations like this unlike any other culture I know. They are strong, patience souls who will rebuild and endure.
Another thing near and dear to my heart is Lush Cosmetics who have stepped in to support local organizations in Japan. These groups are working to rebuild affected areas and support Japanese citizens, some of whom are members of the Lush family.
To aid in the relief effort, Lush Cosmetics are selling limited edition products with 100% of the proceeds going to various Japanese charities.
The Rising Sun Soap ($5.95) resembles the Japanese flag and softens the skin with a sweet cherry fragrance. All proceeds from the soap will go directly to Peace Boat, a Japan-based non-profit organization. Since the earthquake, Peace Boat has been organizing volunteers, transporting aid and providing hot meals to those affected by the disaster.
Lush Rising Sun Soap will be available starting April 18th at your local Lush store and is available now as www.lushusa.com
From the bottom of my heart I hope you’ll display some support to the people and country of Japan by indulging in a slice or donating to another worthy cause.
My shower is feeling so Easter-like thanks to Philosophy! Between Sugar Chick and Orange Jelly Bean I don’t know which gets me more excited to take a shower in the morning.
Marc Jacobs has a new range of Splashes for Summer 2011. The splashes are inspired by a warm Summer day and the first cool, refreshing sip of a sweet cocktail.
I did a brief post about the Splashes recently and told you about the three limited edition scents that will be released with the collection!
I have on the Marc Jacobs Ginger Splash today here are some of my thoughts about it!
I’m blogging from the road but just wanted to remind you that today is Lush’s Chat Party!
The fun part about the party is meeting up with friends in Lush’s Chat Room to discuss all things Lush lovin’! Plus enjoy some Lush trivia with your hosts and get chances to win prizes!
Along with all the fun games you can indulge in Lush’s Easter Collection and best of all the three limited edition shower gels that have been made in celebration of the event!
Calacas Shower Gel
SnowShowers Shower Gel
Twilight Shower Gel
Calacas is of course that gorgeous grape and lime cocktail from the Halloween/Day of the Dead Collection! It’s amazing as is SnowShowers which is a sparkling, effervescent orange champagne scent.
These gels are available for a short time and each is $25.95 for the large 16 oz size.
I’ll be indulging for sure!
Happy Chattin’ and Haulin’! I probably won’t be in time to say hey at the party but have a good time without me.

For Summer 2011, Clean has launched two new fresh fragrances one of which is Cotton T-Shirt. This isn’t the first time Clean has gone with a cotton-like scent as they do already have a Warm Cotton Parfum however Cotton T-Shirt seems to have lighter, fresher notes to my nose.
It deserves to be mentioned I really don’t heart cotton scents and Clean is about the only brand to convince me otherwise as they really capture the essence of your favorite, soft threadbare cotton t-shirt.
Let’s take a peek at their new fragrance!
