Wen has cornered the cleansing conditioner market for quite a while now but cleansing conditioners are starting the pop up at the drugstore causing what will likely be a major trend for Spring/Summer 2014 haircare.
One of the nicest things about cleansing conditioner is the lack of nonsense and the quick, easy way you can clean and conditioner your hair in a single step! These thick, creamy hair mask-like conditioners act to cleanse your hair as they detangle, soften, and give your hair a smooth finish without parabens or sulfate in many cases!
As a Wen lover I’m actually quite happy to see cleansing conditioners at the drugstore because they are SUPER cheap at around $4-$8 dollars for a generous size bottle. Wen, as you might know, is considerably more expensive.
Here are some new cleansing conditioners to keep your eye out for at your local drugstore!
Bet you didn’t even know about one or two of ‘em!
To celebrate the release of the Lush Mother’s Day Collection they’ll be a Lush Spring 2014 Chat Party on Thursday, April 10th!
The chat party is held live on their website and Lushie’s from around the world can gather to chat about their favorite products as well as take part in trivia to win Lush goodies and prizes!
Along with the Mum’s Day Collection you’ll also have a chance to purchase a limited edition Retro Lush product that they’ll be bringing back for a limited time during the Chat Party! I haven’t a clue what it will be but one can hope it’ll be some sort of shower gel!
What are you wishing for a return of?
Don’t forget to join the Lush Spring 2014 Chat Party on Thursday, April 10th, it begins 2PM PST and ends at 9PM PST.
New Summer Beauty is popping up everywhere I look and creating unhealthy lemmings for my wallet. I saw the new Tom Ford Summer Lip Color Shimmer ($49) and instantly added it to my cart! Eep! Bad Muse bad! But I couldn’t resist.
Algenist also has a new lightweight SPF 50 I have my eye on and It Cosmetics a new Tightliner.
Here’s a list of new Summer Beauty Wants you’re sure to love!
Pantene Cleansing Conditioner hits drugstores this Spring for fans of Wen who always wanted a budget friendly option! Recently, Herbal Essences Naked Cleansing Conditioner released and last year L’Oreal EverCurl Hydracharge Cleansing Conditioner which sorta started the ball rolling for drugstore formulated cleansing conditioners.
To be honest, I love this because Wen felt like the only option for a long time but Wen does remain my favorite none the less.
Pantene Damage Repair Cleansing Conditioner will only set you back about $5-$6.99 at drugstores though which makes it a favorable option compared to Wen’s way higher price tag.
Let’s take a look!
Replace Your Hair Conditioner with Fabric Softener? Is that a thing now? Apparently you can substitute regular hair conditioner with fabric softener to detangle your hair and add softness.
What the what?
