Bath & Body
So you might recall the Bathing Garden Tarts which I cannot rave enough! Recently, I did my first order for some Bathing Garden Creamy Sugar Scrub…I’m not really sure when scrubs were introduced but this is the first time I indulged.
When I discovered The Bathing Garden it was an Etsy shop. It moved to Facebook soon after and set up shop and even more recently a new website was launched where you can place orders.
The shop is typically open once a month and features new fragrances with each re-open. The Creamy Sugar Scrub review I’m about to do falls at the right time because the shop is currently open for business with Circus themed tarts and scrubs available for purchase until June 5th at which time it will close again, get orders out, and re-open again with new fragrances!
Needless to say I love this shop’s tarts! They are AMAZING! Fantastic throw, great linger, and really complex fragrances!
Anyway, my recent order I decided to order some of the Creamy Sugar Scrubs and here’s some thoughts!
May Day, Granny Takes A Dip, and Mangnificent are a few new Lush product launches that are available now at Lush UK.
Let’s take a look!
Fortune Cookie Soap launched their Summer 2014 Candle Aisle Collection and you’ll be able to get your grubby little hands on Fortune Cookie Soap The Sweet Spot Sparkle Me Mist!
The fun thing about the Sweet Spot fragrance is it’s actually a repromoted scent from The Grinch Holiday 2012 Collection and a favorite of mine.
Do yourself a favor order it in everything Fortune Cookie Soap makes it in as it is a fun, sparkly little fragrance that’s perfect for Summer!
I imagine you’re thinking that the newly launched Urban Decay BB Body Beauty Balm is a dupe for Jergens BB Body Perfect Skin Cream which is why I decided to do comparisons of the two. I think it’s the first thing that popped into my head when I saw that Urban Decay had launched a “Body BB Cream”. Strangely enough it was the budget brand that started the trend with the higher end following behind on it. Typically we see a big trend pop up for a product and a month to several months later you’ll start seeing similiar style products at the drugstore.
Not the case here.
Jergens was the first company to market a BB Cream for your body and Urban Decay followed close behind. I imagine as we head into Summer we are going to see MORE and more and more brands embracing this trend.
So here’s a comparison of Jergen’s version and Urban Decay’s.
Urban Decay BB Body Beauty Balm ($32) is an upcoming Body BB Cream that will be added to the Urban Decay Naked Skin Collection of products with a new Summer Collection entitled Summer Nights. I know, I know you’re probably think, “Oh a dupe of Jergens BB Body Perfecting Skin Cream!” but the two products are vastly different and I’ll do comparison swatches for you shortly.
Urban Decay BB Body Beauty Balm is formulated to tighten skin as well as blur the appearance of flaws giving skin a smoother, firmer, more radiance finish.
